Error 6C10 keeps coming up on my Cannon Prixma
6C10 error (valve cam sensor error) is a mechanical problem in the purge unit area where the valve cam sensor is located (on the purge unit just behind the power switch button). On my experience, the movable gear assembly (with spring on top) can't move downward to move the other gear that is connected to the valve cam therefore the sensor is not sensing any movements.Solution: 1. Open the entire top cover. 2. Locate the purge unit (the area where the ink carriage rests when not in use). 3. Move the carriage to the middle of the printer to access the purge unit.4. Try to gently move the gear assembly downward using your finger or a screw driver to loosen the stuck gear.5. Turn on the printer to test.
My canon printer is not printed goodly.the printed paper is not clear.so whts the problem?
Your description is a little vague but the most likely fix is to remove all the cartidges and then the printhead itself. Wash it under flowing warm water, dry it thoroughly and replace it and the cartidges in your machine. Perform a deep clean either through the printer settings on your computer or press and hold the "resume" button until the power light flashes twice. The machine will then perform a self clean and nozzle check.
