This perticular model can handle up to 4GB of RAM. There are 2 DIMM slots on the motherboard the lay vertical about 4-5 inches long. Simply push the white plastic clips on each side of the chip and it will eject the chip out. Replace by reversing the process. And be sure to replace with proper RAM that is compatible with that board. Use SIW (free download) to find out which ram you have in it now.

go to control panel from the start menu select performance and maintenance then select power options. then where it says stand by select how long after not being used you want the computer to stand by

The only real way to testa power supply is to replace it with one known to be working and of a similar wattage, this will tell you if this is the problem.

It sounds like a mechanical failure of the drive tray.
Use a un-bent paper clip and stick it in the tiny hole near the tray of the drive to attempt to prod the tray out of the drive.

Most likely there is something (a CD probably) stuck in the drive.

It may take a good deal of jiggling and bumping of the drive to get whatever is blocking it to come free. Be patient but firm.

download and install cpu-z from www.download.com it should show you all the info.

You need to try these solutions:check the power cord to see if it is connect to the computer and the wall outlet properly.You should try using another wall outlet,you should change the power cord if the problem still exist,another solution you should try is changing your power supply because it may be dead.

Download a DVD, ISO file, from say a torrent site and burn to DVD. You may have to elicit a friends machine to do this. Or purchase a DVD. Also ensure you FIRST get & download ALL the drivers you need from the manufacturers web site.

if your not sure then go to motherboard manufactures website and download the manual from there.

Error 680 meals no dail tone!,
1. is the phone cable modem plug into the modem port and the phone jack.
2. do you have a dial tone, when you pick up the receiver.
If you heard a dial tone, is it continuous?
3. are you using DSL Modem? or broadband connection?
If you have another cable available, try it. A bad cable could be the problem.

Next, check the modem. Is it turned on? When you try to dial out, are the lights blinking? If they’re not, the modem might be damaged. If it’s possible, attach another modem to see if that solves the problem.

What's plugged into it?

Your desktop computer does not have a wireless adapter.

Check cables, connections, pins, If you have a Graphics Card, reseat it. Sound like a connection or graphics issue. Do you have a can of Electronic's Contact Spray? I use it for cleaning connector, PCI slots, etc., Where copper connections oxidation occurs. May be a simple reset or bad Graphic Card. Hard to say for sure.

Looks promising. It's an INF fie which are driver files. Download, extract, and direct Device Manager where to install driver from. The worst that can happen is it won't install, or you have uninstall / delete. Better than those fake drivers you mentioned.

Did you check W7 compatibility before install? It is likely that your low-end RAM-based graphics was a bust.

1) you must sure the Internet is working o.k 2) see if the modem LEDS are working good3) if you have Router see if the router is working with the LEDS, and see you have another computer connect and see if working.4) if additional computer is working the problem will be your computer PC.5) try to restore to some point when was working before.6) see if this work, otherwise you must download the driver for NIC NETWORk , BIOS+CHIPSET go to the supplier web and download.God bless you
