Emachines are notoriously infamous for the lack of available documentation. Sometimes you can fine a "user manual", but these are often next to useless as a service guide. The Windows and Unix copy and paste keyboard commands are Control + C (copy) and Control + V. The Macintosh command is the Command key with the same C or V. However, some sites prohibit copying "to protect copyrighted information". Try a different monitor & see if fault still exists...If not the monitor, then could be fault in box...either hardware or software....(???maybe interference from other devices in home/nearby???) Your may need to install/replace video card - if you have one? (I THINK that if it is a fault in the all-in-one motherboard type of video that a separate "PCI" video card MAY solve it?) yes you can upgrade the graphics card, you have integrated graphics but you can purchase a PCI-E graphics card and bypass the on board graphics but keep in mind you'll have to buy a "low profile" graphics card as there's not much room in your case and a full size card will not fit.

my first thought is activation is broken, restart pc in safe mode (google how to do this), if you are able to log into safe mode under 'your' name, then it's fixable, if not and you can log in under 'administrator', then your user account is corrupt, need to make a new one. if activation issue, well need more room than this for that
