Can not find emachine w3115 bios download

There's no reason to flash your BIOS they rarely add enhancements to BIOS's usually just bug fixes. Plus it's dangerous to flash it unless you know exactly what you are doing if you half flash something then it's toast flash is either all or nothing.

While in the computer it is highly recommend that you be aware of ESD and its potential hazards Remove the memory modules from their slots. Take the opportunity to clean the slots on the motherboards and the memory module connectors. Use compressed air to blow dust away and clean contacts with a soft cloth. My emachine boots, runs for a while then freezes

The beeps are possibly post during post the very first work is done by the ram,all the memory in the ram is first transferred to the hard disk, and remains active untill turned off. WARNING: Before you start troubleshooting remember that you are dealing with electricity that can KILL. http://www.kitchentablecomputers.com/static.php - rules Make sure that your RAM modules and Cmos battery are securely seated on some motherboards Cmos batteries are soldered in. Open computer and reseat memory Sometimes when the computer is moved or over time a memory stick can become loose causing the computer to be unable to read the memory or get errors as it's reading it. Try fixing this issue by opening the computer removing each of the memory sticks you have in the computer and then placing them back into the computer. Swap memory location If reseating the memory did not resolve the issue try swapping the location of the memory. If you have only one stick of memory in the computer try moving it to another slot and then boot the computer. If you have more than one stick of memory try removing all but one stick of memory and boot the computer. Remove the memory modules from their slots. Take the opportunity to clean the slots on the motherboards and the memory module connectors. Use compressed air to blow dust away and clean contacts with a soft cloth. Do not use a metallic vacuum cleaner if it touches any component it may create a short and cause damage to the motherboard or other components. They will air dry in a matter of minutes If this does not resolve the issue try removing that stick of memory and try one of the other sticks of memory. Try another computers memory Test all power and data leads that attach from motherboard to your hard drive IDE SATA make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty If its a flat 40 pin ide it will be the first to fail. Check the graphics card is seated properly with no dust in the socket you might have to remove it to check for dust reinstall it Restart your computer the found new hardware wizard should activate a computer needs power and data to travel through every working device and to its continue its cycle and to have and end to function Make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd and floppy drive have secure make sure the connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty Computers need all Power and Data to travel to and through every working device and have an end to work properly so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error also check the keyboard for secure dust free connection ps2 and or usb

I can't get my computer

You are having what is called a BSOD(Blue Screen Of Death). Usually it is software related but in your case if it's not booting up then you have a hardware malfunction. Check your motherboard for any missing cables. Chances are you will have to get a replacement for your motherboard.
Have fun :)

My emachine w3115 comes on but, will not display

Press CTRL + ALT + DEL - the Task Manager should appear. If it does then click File, New Task (Run) and type explorer then hit enter, it should return to normal.
If the Task Manager doesn't appears or Explorer doesn't starts then the system is severely corrupted, you will have to reinstall Windows using the recovery cd.

My computer is fine but when i wate my screen goes

Have you checked your display settings in the control panel. Check the device manager also to see if any of the drivers are incorrect, but it sounds like the screensaver is starting up and it's a blank screen or something like that. What O/S are you running? WIndows and what version?

I accidently restored my computer

crazystevens

To clarify with you did you actually do the system restore of the system back to the factory image or just to a restore point.

Also what games are you trying to play. If they are online games you may need to have your Active X settings adjusted for the game and installed the versions of JAVA that the game requires.

Let me know if you have any more problems or questions
