Hello there:
first unplug the computer and open the case
find the power supply cord that goers to the motherboard and remove it now press in the power on button and hold it in for 30 seconds and if you have a reset button do the same for this now reisert the power supply to the motherboard
And since you are in there check to make sure that all of the connections are tight and clean
Now plug in the power cord to the computer and reboot and see if it now works
If not try to remove the video card and reinsert it in a different slot and repeating the steps above and than reboot if still nothing i would suggest that you get a new video card
you can also remove the memory sticks and reinsert them 1 at a time and reboot after each one and see what happens ok?

it look like you have to many ram or set the ram timing rong restrat the pc and press f2 and del at the bigining and after load the bios go to the last exit and make load defaults and say yes and restart and see if you get the problem solve thanks

Try this first to get it out of hibernation mode. Unplug the power supply, remove the battery. go hava cup of coffee. Come back, reinstall the battery and power cord. Attempt to restart the computer.

If this fails go to....

Look at the cd drive. Next to the button that normally opens the cd drive is a pinhole. Power up the computer. Using a straightened paper clip, push the paper clip into the pinhole. you should be able to get the cd drive to open.

If you can not get the computer out of sleep mode you should now be able to get the cd drive open and use the recovery disk.

If you go onto the ACER website all of the drivers for any ACER pc are on there.

based on the images i've looked on for the Aspire m1201, you don't need to remove the front panel in order to remove the optical drive. if there are screws holding the drive in, remove them and then slide the drive forward. if its held in by sliding latches and not screws, then slide then in which ever direction necessary and then push the drive forward to take it out.

Sounds like some kind of conflict. Make sure you have the latest video drivers for your OS. Was the os reinstalled after the new motherboard put in? This could cause problems if you actually managed to get windows running without reinstalling.

What is file do you copy?, try look into folder it must copy, because wrong folder it can make not work.

check to see that it is not overheating. If cpu fan is not blowing (could be frozen up) or if the fan in the power supply is clogged with dust, the computer may be overheating and refusing to some on. If it is dust, arrange to blow it out completely. take off cover and try to start the machine, the fan should turn on the CPU.

1. If the CD/DVD drive tray not open.

Open "My computer" windows and select the CD drive . "Right click" onthe CD drive.You will get a pop up windows with the "Eject" option.

If it open that's means the power supply is ok

2. If the DVD drive is not showing on my computer windows or the DVD is not detect the CD/DVD disk

So You PC hangs when ever you open any application.
Try this:
1. Turn off the PC
2. Tap F8 while booting the PC go to the Advanced Boot Option winodw
3. using your up & dow arrow chose (Safe Mode With Networking) hit enter
4. sign in as the ADMIN (if available) or you profile
5. Open the internet ( IE, Firefox)
6. go to www.malwarebytes.org
7. Download & Update Malwarebytes and run a Full scan
8. Remove what is found and reboot into normal mode
