ive lost the bluetooth icon in system tray and cannot get bluetooth to work, have been into bluetooth configuration. it says its working but been stopped and to click on the icon in the system tray - which isnt there!
anyone help? ta
go to my computer and C and program files... and open widdcom and find bttray aplication duble click.... its finito

After the battery is drained, I tried to boot up the netbook but it doesn't work. Now the plug is connected to the socket and still doesnt start up. Removed the battery and plug press the power for a long time and pu the battery again, connect the plug to the socket and it still didn't fix it. I just bought this netbook about a month ago.
Take it back to the store and get the manufacturers to fix it.

My Netbook NC10--no sound comes out when playing audio/video files. I have check Sound/audio devices in the Control Panel and made sure volume is set right, selection for laptop w/ 2 speakers is selected, there are no settings on mute....what should I do?
Go to the device manager and right click on the device and select update drivers. You may need to reinstall the sound drivers.

I can't activate bluetooth on my samsung nc10 -I want to transfer pics from my motorola mobile phone. everything reports to be running ok but it won't recognise my phone. I'm clearly a beginner - I'm obviously missing the obvious :-)
you need to right click the blutooth icon in the right hand coner of the task bar and set the prefs to visible and then paird the devices before sending files if its not seeing your cell phone most likly its set to invisivble wich is the defalt setting for blue tooth in XP

I have the same problem... however my battery is not fully drained it can be on about 40 or 50% and if i put the charger in the screen goes completely white, but when i take the charge out its fine.
yesterday the same thing happend so i changed the battery settings from home /office to battery normal manager, then it was ok no white screen , but now its completely white
I too had this problem with my NC10, and i found that on the back, the little slider holding on the battery casing was not in the locked position. As soon as I locked the slider, the problem was solved and has not occurred again.Might not be the case for all these posts above, but worth checking your before having to get involved with customer services etc.

I have a small notebook laptop with no 10 key pad. The numbers are on my keyboard as well as the top row as usual with all laptops. Somehow my num lock got activated and now i have to press the "fn" key anytime i have to use the m or any of the keys that contain a number. Can anyone help me turn this off?
One of your Function keys (F11, F12, etc., usually F11) will also have the NumLock function on them. So when you hold Fn and press F11, it will toggle the Number Lock. Try holding Fn and press F11, this should turn it off (and back on should you ever want to use it again). Your keyboard should be labeled with the various functions keys have when Fn is pressed, you may have to look for the one that reads NumLk.

My nc10 reported the 'operating system not found' a week or so ago. I've tried everything including trying to reload windows xp from a USB [as the netbook doesn't have a cd drive] At this point I just want to know how to use system recover or how I can change it back to factory settings.
Please Help!!
Sound like your hard drive has crashed so bad that the notebook does not even know it is there. I would replace the hard drive and try to reinstall from external cd-rom . Make sure the external cd-rom is recognized in the bios settings Good Luck

You will and external CD-ROM or DVD ROM in order to format the Netbook.You can used MS-DOS to format the Hard drive.
Yopu can download the bootable MS-DOS using the link below

battery not charging samsung nc10- was OK the other day now just intermittent blue flash when plugged in. unplug and no power. removed battery and charger works. Fn F2 00% battery life!!- do you think a new battery will sort this?
try holding the power button for 30 secs with the battery out and unit powered off it allows a static discharge and might help its what my wifes g60 requires from time to time good luck and hope this helps you out some
