My nc10 is not charging,
This usually indicates a problem with the laptop's battery.
How old is your battery? More than three years?
Did you notice a considerable decline in unplugged time(the time you work on battery without being connected to mains supply) before it stopped working?
If the battery is too old or if you noticed a severe decline in unplugged time, get a battery.
If anything else, it needs to be check by a professional.

Hello:
This is a hardware problem.
1.- Try to connect an external LCD screen (like a T.V) or CRT monitor using a HD15 VGA cable, switch to the external screen. You should use Fn + F5 to switch between screens. (See your Samsung keyboard for exact key combination). If image comes out, your motherboard has no problem.
2.- The internal cable connection to the mainboard may be loose. You need to take apart the display panel to check it out.
3.- If you can see light on the lcd screen, that means your lcd inverter works fine, so, the lcd screen is damaged. You must replace the lcd screen.
4.- If you can't see any light on your screen, your screen inverter needs to be replaced.
I hope this helps. Thanks

Forgotten password
- Hello fally_69, if by chance you didn't 'create a "Supervisor Password" to prevent anyone from changing the configurations in the BIOS / CMOS Setup? than we are 'OK!' Lets just say [No] for now. Bootup / Start the computer, and follow these steps: 1. When you hear the computer start-up, there will be a message that flashes very quickly at the bottom of the screen, it will read; Press F2 or F12 or on other "Computers, the 'Key Sequence may be [F11]..." The area of your attention will be [F2] Key at the top of the keyboard. The F2 Key will open the CMOS / BIOS Setup. 2. Once this screen appear, you will see a 'Listing" of different set-ups. There will be instructions in the [right] Help ? area. You be using the "Arrow Keys" to (Select and Choose Items). In the first screen, there will be on the (right of the screen). 3. Set Supervisor Password = This is the "Password Setting that will prevent anyone from getting into without authorization this area that you are in now, to "Change or Configure" CMOS or BIOS setting. 4. Set User Password = This Password is use for "Logins / User Accounts... You want to "Reset or Change the Supervisor Password. Do so, and to finish; remember to use the [F10 Key] to 'Save the Changes.' Thanks for using Fix' Ya, and I hope this fix it, paul7of9

All my saved pictures have
Greetings and thanks for the question, there are various reasons why this happens. Without having your computer here to see what is going on is anybody s guess on how to repair it. If I may offer some suggestions. Since I also do not know what operating system you are using I will assume it is Win 7.
I would personally go to control panel and check my power options to make sure I do not have the settings set you close display or sleep mode or anything set to soon to close your machine down. Often times people have these set to go off there are defaulted usually to save battery usage and your lap top from getting to hot and shutting it down. The thermal switch may be activating sooner than normal. What some folks do is purchase one of those underneath fan coolers to keep their lap tops from getting to hot and constantly shutting down.
This can be the case have this checked out at least set the lap top for more time before closing down or turning the monitor off. Let us hope it is not more serious than appears. Like a lamp in the monitor going out. If it is new the lap top I would not worry about that issue because it is intermittent. Which leads me to believe it is a thermal or a shut down issue. Get the cooler fan for your lap top I recommend anyone that reads this post to also do this as well. Clean your lap top blow them out it is critical to do this to keep dust away and keep it clean.
Now there is recovery software which is free to download
Click Here to check this out to retrieve lost files. Also important to get those precious memories separate off your computer and on to separate CD or DVD or storage USB stick so that when this type of thing happens you have not lost your precious memories. I hope this helps you. John

Depending on your graphic card, you have to change the settings. You can locate it in the CONTROL PANEL.
For example, if you have got nVidia graphics card, go to nVidia Control Panel, select the option SET UP MULTIPLE DISPLAYS and then choose DUPLICATE DISPLAYS.
If you have any other graphic card, you can post it here, but please be more specific.
Thank you

When i turn it on
The hard drive probably is the problem, if the software is corrupted windows will not start, if you have a start up disc try re-installing windows, if that and does not work have the hard drive checked.

Samsung NC10 will not connect to any network
If WLAN and Wireless cards are enabled, then you may have to unplug your router for 10 seconds to reset it. They tend to build up a static charge. Unplug wireless router for 10 seconds, plug back in and you should be fine in a minute or two with full connectivity

Want to restore to factory settings?
After some research, it appears that you may have been supplied with recovery media, which would require you to attach an external CD drive. Or there is a function call Samsung Recovery solution. If this is supplied with our computer, you may have a partition on your hard drive that will restore you computer to factory settings. Unfortunately, I cannot locate the exact instructions to access the Samsung Recovery Solution. Are you familiar with this utility? I have attached a internet link to a page to download your user manual. You will find the download links for either Windows XP or windows 7 on the lower part of the page that loads from this link.
I hope that you find this helpful. Without more detail about your particular set up, it is hard to be more specific.
