Have you tried rebooting the device?

so you aspired does boot but the OS does not? What OS? Try safe mode. Very likely a video driver related issue.

Wireless problems can have various causes. Do other devices in your network work fine (other notebooks, smartphones)? And have you tested your Acer in other networks, like in a friends house, etc? If your notebook fails anywhere you use it, it may have a faulty wireless adapter (altough that's very rare). I would try to remove and reinstall the wireless driver and if that don't solve it, reinstall the OS (you could also have a virus problem). If the notebook works fine in other places, it could be your wifi router. Try turning it off and on.

Another option, because your notebook's built-in wifi hardware is provided by Intel, is to head to https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html using the notebook, and install and run Intel's Driver And Support Assistant (Intel DSA) which should then advise you what Intel drivers are needed for your Aspire 6930.

Try to boot in safe mode which version of operating system you installed

Not all systems are supported by Windows 7. Infact many items that were supported by vista are not supported in windows 7.

looking at your system specs you woudl originally have AMD Mobile Sempron 3000+ / 1.8 GHz , 256mb ram and windows xp home as your original.

this system does not meet the minimum requirements to run Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 7 at all.

minimum specs for windows 7 are

1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

i do not recommend a 1ghz system. i would recommend a 2ghz or better with 2GB of memory for a basic version

easy if its touch screen swipe to the right and a little boarder comes then click settings,,brightness and bam you done or you can do it on your keyboard on the arrow keys(there should be a sign) or go to settings and click screen resolution,,then brightness

Before you do this understand it will delete everything currently on your drive ! so save important files if you can !! try holding the"Alt" key and the "F10" key when the computer is booting up. This should give you the option to restore to factory settings.

change the settings in the display adaptor for the HMDI. They may also be accessible in the display icon of the control panel.

start Windows Mobility Centr from the Accessories program group in the Start menu..you will see if its connected or not connected on top right hand side of pop up screen. Just click to turn wireless on and off. Otherwise go to page 14 of the Generic User Guide for more infor.

You might have a some malicious codes in your system tampering with your os. Try rebooting your laptop in safe mode and run a scan using malwarebytes

reset browser from settings, delete temp files, try again.

Permanent Fix for your Aspire 6930 shaking screen problem, .
I had a very bad shaking screen for weeks in a row and it drove me creazy, the solution is quite simple and you can fix it yourself !!
The whole problem is a kinda loose monitor conection inside the Laptop. Because of open and closing the laptop screen the conection comes off.
All you need to do is open the Laptop, disconect the cable and put it firmly back again, problem solved.
If it happens again, repeat this but now also put an plastik tape over the whole cable so that it cannot can come off again.
