ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.
Lens error
Try blowing through the lens or tap the camera repeatedly with the lens facing the ground. A debris/sand is probably stuck inside the lens mechanism.
SANYO VPC-TP1000 CAMERA
Hi please try to do this and let me know. Remove the battery and give a look inside the battery compartment with spot light. Make sure that place are clean and there no damaged mark. Specially look the Battery connector pins. That should in proper place , not bend, not even sulfur layer there. Use ear buds and drop of alcohol for cleaning. After checking if every thing Ok then some how the power supply not able to connect the circuit board. Its happens when the connectivity cable disconnected or damaged, circuit board short or the power transformer stop working. For all this internal fault part confirmation you need to visit electronic repair center. but before visit for repairing make sure the battery which one you use that's is fully charged with working condition. Thank you
