MP3 player plays 10 seconds of a song and stops
Your MP3 Player is in the Intro Play Mode. This is just a preview mode where it'll play the beginning of a song. If you hit the menu button (but don't hold it) while the song is playing, it should bring up the music submenu. From there, go to Play Mode and select any mode except Intro. Generally though, you'll want it on Repeat All or something of the like. Random is also good if you can't figure out what to listen to.
Hope this helped :)

Plugged in my MP3 to the USB port. Light was solid red (was supposed to flash if charging). I pushed the on button. Computer said something about driver problem your device/software may not work properly. Now when I turn on the MP3 while connected to charge MP3, the light is solid for about a minute, flashes a couple of times and shuts down. Any solution. I'm new at this stuff. Thanks
You have to install the software for the mp3 player BEFORE connecting the mp3 player to the computer, or else Windows XP will override the native drivers. That particular Nextar is not compatible with Windows Vista, so you may have a problem if you have a newer computer.

The device synch fine but when it does the music ends up in random folders. I have accomplished creating a folder on the device from windows media player but cannot move any songs to it. Any help would be appreciated!
(With the Device plugged in.)
Try going to MY COMPUTER. On the left side, there should be a scroll. Scroll down until you see GPX. Double Click. Then double click on REMOVABLE STORAGE, Double click on MUSIC and you should be able to rearrange items from there.
What I Do:
Once there, I look at the scroll on the left again. I open the folders of the bands and highlight all the songs in the folder and drag them to the left hand scroll and deposit them into the MUSIC folder.

i dont know how to put pictures or movies on it jus got it and didnt get a book with it...
Plug in your MP3 Player. Open MY COMPUTER, your MP3 player will show up in the scroll on the left side of the screen. Go into your documents to select an image and simply drag and drop on top of the folder called ALBUMS under the GPX. This will put images into an album on the player.
To See the images once on your MP3 player,
1. Turn on the MP3
2. Hold MODE BUTTON
3. press up or down until you select PICTURE
Your images will appear as a list.
I find that .gif images and .jpg images work the best.

my mp3 player keeps skipping songs. it would only play half of the song
Your MP3 player is stuck in INTRO MODE. Play a song and hit the MODE button on the side of your MP3 player. Once you see options appear on the screen, select PLAY MODE and choose NORMAL. This should fix the problem.

My computer won't recognize my mp3 player and will only charge. I went to the settings and changed it to "USB Disk". When I plug it, the screen says [usb] and it has the Zzz's (at the same time)...but it blinks for half a second and my computer still doesn't recognize it. Help!
Try a different USB cable. Some only charge, some only pass data and won't charge, while others will do both.
