You can retrieve the phone contacts and pictures through the phone tools suite in your computer.

Just connect the phone to your computer.

Another possible way is to take the phone extended memory card or the MMC. This contains all the data like picture, videos and etc. Put it to a card reader.

You can set it up to where you can flip open the phone, see who's calling, then decide to answer it.

Which this is how ya do that:

Press center key, scroll to settings&tools, call settings, answer options, then select any key answer.

That'll stop answering it right when you open it.

You can permanently erase all user data stored on the phone, and reset settings to factory defaults by performing a Restore.
To perform a Phone Restore:

1. Tap Menu
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Security
4. Enter your 4 digit unlock code. (Default 1234, 0000, or last 4 digits of your phone number)
   Tap Done
   
5. Tap Restore Phone
6. Tap Yes when prompted with the following message Permanently Erase All User Data & Reset Settings To Factory Defaults?

Note: You will have to dial *228 after the phone power cycles to re-program the phone.

just go to settings, and there you will find master reset and clear. it will ask you for a password which is 000000 and will reset it to factory
