20 Most Recent Haier 14.3 lb. Washer/Dryer Combo Questions & Answers

I had this washer for almost 2 yrs and you'll end up fixing things here and there. Well after some heavy research this error was supposedly the control box or some computer chip/loose connection. After taking apart all the pieces and reassembling, still err7 comes up. Turns out our daughter liked to open the door and pull down on it, causing a misalignment. There's lock that 'clicks' when you start a load to lock the door and I'm guessing there's a sensor that takes 5 seconds to detect if the door is closed properly. Our door was misaligned so the sensor tripped the circuit after 3 seconds of the water starting. I just press the door more with my knee and start the load. After 5 seconds I let go and all is well.

It means there is no water. Check the hoses are not kinked and the screens on either end are cleaned of debris.Otherwise these more internal parts are the possible causes:1. Inspect the pressure tube from the tub to the pressure sensor looking for kinks or leaks.2. ok like i said before haiers can be tricky. if you where to remove the lid 2 screws in back pull forward and remove lid. you will see a silver peice i believe you will also see the fan. That metal peice should have 2 wires on it. that is your heating element. I am going by memory so dont quote me. but if you check with no power to the unit///unplug...check the 2 wires at that silver metal peice you should have continuity there. if not your element is bad. i belive it is located to the right of the unit directly under the lid. there is also a thermistate there as well I know those thermistates are not very good. and the last time i had a haier not drying was the thermistate.I think there might be 2 orange wires going to it. Check things like the Filter / clear fluff...Make sure outlet hose if any is not kinked and passing air..Hope this helps..

get rid of it. I had two of these that did the same thing. people all over the internet are suffering with haier washing machines! They are utter rubbish and I will never buy haier again!

Have you tried lengthening the dryer cycle or running it at a higher temp? The usual culprit for wet clothes is not running a dryer long enough or hot enough. (I remember some stand-alone dryers (coin-operated with a fixed drying time per coin) that needed two cycles to dry stuff.
