Good Day.... I feel for you... Unknowingly,When they purchase it. Many people have the same experience in finding service for products such as your experiencing.
Of course, it's our hope and belief, it's not ever going to have a problem, some people are lucky. Me neither... mine is in computers... but that's another story.. Just believe me, I understand ... but I'm going to try to help... why I picked up this call, is because I find it to be interesting, about the comment about the clothes gathering into a ball... Generally, that happens in relationship to the amount of water, inside or lack of it. If the clothes are in a ball, that's why they're coming out wet. Nobody makes a washer that can do that.
I want you to check the drain line...(that's the hose to water uses to exit) Is the hose at any point, higher than the top of the machine (it's supposed to be) ... if not siphoning may be occurring.
Also check to drain hose at the inlet, where the hose goes into the wall.. it must allow air to get in here as well. I have experienced some indifferent situations before, if the hose in stuffed into the stand-pipe, or taped,glued, sealed.. if there is no vacuum break (meaning-place in which air can enter) that to can create a siphon. Ge was known for having a washer that made the kind of bang you describe. It was their normal method for stopping the clothes basket from spinning forever. I hope this answer works for you, otherwise resolving may continue to be difficult. One piece of information you'll have received, is what you will and won't recommend to buy when you hear others having conversation on buying a major Appliance. Sometimes it's all we can do... I think there is a problem with the spring that is attached on the left hinge of the door. Try elevating the door for a couple of milimeters with some rubber object. that should help

If the timer stopped advancing on one of my machines (laundromat owner) i'd assume it's the timer motor. Kind of like when a top loader has no final spin but otherwise runs okay i always suspect the timer mechanism. For me it's a simple check; exchange timers with a neighboring machine. You probably don't have that option. Unfortunately, I don't know the Haier Brand of machines so i could be wrong.

This machine is very problematic. I had the E2 Error as well. The problem, like dddd501 said, is with the spring in the left hinge of the top lid. It probably gets loose after some use. I solved this, after many trial and errors by wedging a piece of thick cardboard in the gap between the top lid and the surrounding machine in such a way as to PUSH the top lid BACKWARDS into the direction of the control panel. This, I presume, will force the spring into whatever sensor that detects the top lid is closed and removes the E2 message.

You can try resetting your washing machines operating sytem.
Turn the washer OFF
Standing on a dry floor, unplug the washer from the outlet
Wait several minutes
Replug the Washer into the outlet and turn it on.

Thanks for using FixYa. It means that there is a leak in the main drain hose. Inspect the entire hose and correct any problem you find. Alternatively, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. This may be most visible during large loads and high water levels. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub--but that may not be an economical repair to make. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

mine did this too.. I found if you hold lid up slightly to put in you cycle information and then as you press start quickly drop the lid! Ridiculous I know but it works, its a short term solution.. a few yrs of doing that and mine is finally decided to kick the bucket.. time for a real solution!
