Hi,
I searched, and the manual for this model is useless for this problem (the "factory reset" option is in one of the inside menus, which you won't be able to see.
I can't promise this will work, but in most Android devices that I've worked with, there is a two-button combo. With the device turned off, simultaneously press and hold the "volume-up" and the "On" buttons, which would turn it on and boot in basic mode, which in turns allows a hard factory reset in the options.
Best of luck,
Charlie.
If you are just trying to reinstall an update to OS you can go into setting>applications>all>google services framework. Clear Data and Cache and then go into your update manager and search for updates. If you are trying to install a fresh copy of android OS you will lose all data on phone and but google "Formatting X cell phone" and you should find a forum of instructions, look for XDA developers, but this is essentially factory resetting the phone.
You didn't say which brand of phone you have.
Most phones about the same function wise. Here's instructions for Samsung phone.
Turn off your Android device.
Press the Power button to start your device.
During the startup, hold down the Menu button until the device starts into Safe Mode. ...
To restart the device into Normal Mode, turn off and turn on the device.
There may be volume increasing apps or patches that you could try(Modding)
But I strongly suggest you not to try those. Because that will surely destroy the output sound quality.
Transferring a build over on a memory card then putting on an android box is technically possible but it would be very hard in making sure you get all the files correctly over and installed in the right paths.
The easiest way for you to install a build is to first install Kodi Kyrpton on your Android Box then once Kodi is installed, from within kodi install your build.
Feel free to check the link I posted, its a blog post on how to install kodi builds. Theres full screenshots and youtube videos to help with learning how to do installs. Once you do it a couple times you will be able to do it hands down anytime. Anyways I hope this helped you and good luck with installing your new build.

If you have stored your contacts into sim then yes. But this is unlikely. Just play with contact settings to export all contact to vcf file (windows phone has to be able to do it) and then just email or mms this file to your new and great beloved android and open that vcf file and save your contacts to phone book. For future, store all your contacts on your gmail account. Then when you get other android, after you type in your email all contacts comes back automaticly. Good luck
Make sure it's more than half way charged.
With the phone OFF..
-hold down both volume buttons at same time.
-while holding both volume buttons press power button for 2 seconds.
-It should display recovery more, if not try again.
-When android icon shows, press home button.
-A screen with restore choices comes up.
-Use volume buttons to choose the best restore for you.
(choose wipe data / factory reset in your case) simply because there is an problem with the bootup system file. This should work. Wish you the best.
