My Jura Capresso E 8 is stuck in open tap filling system. I open tap it says filling system, it says close tap, when I close the tap it goes back into open tap. Float valve looks fine, water is moving

Open the tap with frother spout off. This happened to mine and I took the frother tip off and opened tap with tip off. Water filled and I closed tap...Machine returned "Ready". I heated water in microwave for three minutes- placed frother tip in hot water and all kinds of gunk came out. Lesson learned- Do a thorough cleaning of frother by immersing it in very hot water at least once monthly- even if you don't use it

Why fill bean message shows on display when machine is full of beans?

Difficult to say without the machine in front of me. Normally you get this response if no beans fall into the grinder. Are your beans oily, sticking together and not falling in? Normally freshly roasted beans esp dark roasts are a bit oily. If so then you can change roasts, brands or mix with another type. You might try to adjust your grind per the manual. (turn knob inside the bin while the grinder is grinding) see #8 page 12. If the beans are falling in and grinding and you still get this msg I would say you have a grinder problem. http://capresso.125west.com/e8_manual.pdf

How to remove and replace water lid on E8

The hooks in the lid are tricky to remove without breaking. It is best to remove the top cover. To do so you need special key to open the machine. Order the special key from the link below. Watch the video posted on You tube channel "Parts Guru USA". Descale the machine every three months using manual descaling. Jura instructions are misleading and create unnecessary error messages. Jura capresso shuts down

It is possible that the timer unit in the maker is defective and need to be replaced. I would suggest you move the coffee maker to a different outlet and see if you have the same problem. If there is a short in the mechanism or a bad connection in the timer it could be experiencing a thermal shutdown.

My machine is leaking clear water. I ordered a new water tank. However, that is not the solution. It is still leaking. Wondering if there are any repair shops near Wilmington, NC

Check the membrain regulator for leaks. Those end up leaking over time as they get older. They look like this: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxNTk5/z/XMAAAOSwl8NVdZz4/$_35.JPG and are located on the outlet side of the water pump. They can be bought for about $50-60 and just screw on to the outlet side of the pump.

When brewing coffee about half the water comes out of the frothing nozzle instead of the coffee spout. The nozzle also leaks after the brewing cycle.

I would say that something has a hole in it, but if it doesn't it might have bad quality, and if it isn't that because the place where you bought it from sells good machines, then it still might have something that went wrong or something was misplaced. I'm not sure either, but that's what i think is the most likely reason. You could always try ask the place manager and ask him if there is anything wrong with your machine. Hope it ind of helped!

Grind time is short, puck is wet and sloppy, espresso weak

Sounds like you might have more than one problem. From page 12 of the manual... NOTE THE LAST LINE. "8. ADJUSTING THE GRINDER ...... • Open the lid of the bean container. • While the grinder is running turn the grind selector switch to the desired position (Fig. 6). -The smaller the dots, the finer the grind. -The bigger the dots, the coarser the grind. Important: The grinding grade can only be adjusted while the grinder is actually grinding."

Why empty grounds message stays

So did you empty the grounds? Pull the plug and plug it back in. There is an encoder disk that spins around to control the mechanical movements inside the unit. Some mechanical piece is not where it is supposed to be and the circuit board it waiting for a sensor to clear. Cycling the power will normally make all the mechanics reset to the start position and clears errors/jams etc.

The flap will not go all the way up so the drawer can go all the way in

This one is easy. Remove the tray then unplug the machine. Wait a full five minutes then put then put the tray back In WITHOUT the box. Plug it back in. It will recycle and the flap will behave again. FYI make sure that each time you remove the grounds you find the screen behind and above the flap and clean it with a wet paper towel. It's the size of a nickle and gets clogged if you don't do this.

Jura impressa f9 malfunction 8 i need help whats

Malfunction 8 means that the brew unit can not get in the right position in the right time. This is usually because the brew unit is full of old coffee grounds. Try to shut down the machine for one day. The next day, take out the tray and clear out all coffeegrounds inside the brewunit. Use your fingers and maybe a small towel. You can do this right away, but it is easier when everything`s dried up. When all this is cleaned up, start manually a Cleaning program. This should solve your problem.

If it doesen`t, i could be that the o-rings inside the brew unit is defective and needs to be changed.
