COMPUTER DOSENT TURN ON JUST GREEN LIGHT FLASHES

Dear Elvira,You have to disconnet your power supply from the mains by pulling out power cord then the open the side pan of your cabinet and locate the ram.remove the ram and resit it in another slot. then connect your power cord to the power supply of your pc then switch on.If the problem is not solved then again remove the power cord and remove the cmos battery from the motherboard and wait for 20 seconds, then put it back.and power on the system. if the problem is not solved then try with another powe supply.still problem is there then your motherboard may be bad.you have to replace the motherboard.

Sound isnt working

Hi mjaquez1960
Try this solution to your problem.
Look for the speaker icon on your desktop in the right bottom portion of the sceen.
Also when you find it, RIGHT click on it, you will have two choices to make, choose and check each one of the choices to make sure that NONE of the boxes on each
choice has a checkmark in Mute,if there is a check mark then uncheck it.
NOTE:In "Open Volume control: you will find slider to adjust for volume,Wave,CD Player, etc.
After that is down, then LEFT click on the speaker icon and make sure that the slider is all the way to the top and that the Mute does not have a check mark,if it does remove the check.
If that does not work then re-install the audio driver for your computer.
Please take time to rate me thumbs up

Had a power outage and when computer came back on

Sounds like the power surge possible fried your hard drive. If you have access to another hard drive, try loading Windows on it. That message only pops up when it's unable to boot from the drive it normally boots from.

I need to know how

You can right-click on the CD/DVD icon in "computer" or "my computer" and choose eject.
You can also push the end of a large paper clip into the little hole on the front of the CD player right under the drawer. That will release the drawer and start it opening. Then pull it the rest of the way open.

Please clarify me what is the monitor's brand / model and how many years do you use it. Have you tried to use another monitor to verify that the problem is on the monitor side and not at the computer's side?

Desk top just turn off,

You are having an improper hardware installation or having hardware malfunction. It may be because of the following reasons:
  1. You changed the hardware settings of some device that results in malfunction of device.
  2. Your RAM will be having some problems. Try unplugging your RAM from RAM slot and remove dust by rubbing with an eraser(only from pins at the bottom of RAM.Do not rub the IC chips and circuits)
  3. You have installed a new hardware device on previous system use that have correpted the system boot settings. Remove the newly installed hardware and try restarting.
If you have checked the above problems and the computer didn't return to normal state then contact for nearest technical support.

My cisnet mini tower computer 2 ghz with 512 ram

If the CPU was overheating the PC would shut down, NOT reboot. Check the following:- 1) If it has a reset button on the front, check that nothing is accidentally hitting this. Try it. If it doesn't feel correct or is a bit iffy, disconnect it from the motherboard (IT is a red/white cable on a two pin plug and is marked "Reset". 2)If your PC has an on-board video controller as well as a video card that you are using, try plugging into this. (Some video cards overheat and cause re-boots!) Good Luck, Ian.

My computer shuts down for no reason if left idle

the computer might be set to go into stand by or hibernation after 10 minutes of not being used. check the power settings in start -> control panel -> power. (will probably have a different name)

another cause might be overheating due to dust in the fans - blocking the airflow.
