The reason you have this problem is due to a problem to the electronic control and unfortunately this cannot be fixed, you just need to replace the complete electronic control
CONTROL Part Number: AP4433141 Made by FRIGIDAIRE
The good thing is that is so expensive in your fridge only $42 compare to the $200 of other models then it worth to replace it and solve the problem for ever.
We have here a link with the parts of your fridge including the control.

The freezer is running, and
Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly
If your sure the compressor is running and it is not freezing then there has to be a system coolant leak.
Having said that there are a few things to check:
1. Is the compressor in fact running Y / N
a. Yes = coolant level problem or coolant system blockage
b. Not running = (Possibilites below)
1) PTC / Klixon Thermal overload failure
2) Run capacitor failure
3) Temp control failure
4) Automatic defrost thermostat or thermistor
5) Defrost timer or Adaptive defrost control failure (depending on model)
2. Is the compressor very hot to the touch or room temp?
a. VERY hot = unplug the unit for at least 30 minutes and then plug it back in.
b. ROOM temp = any of the above in 1b items 1) - 5)
3. Is the evaporator fan running?
a. Yes = Temp control is ok Defrost system is probably ok
b. No = same as 2b
With a model number I could pass on a few additional things to do. For the moment use the above.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly
Unit has been un-plugged for
Just in case, leave it plugged in for another 60 minutes, its quite possible it went into the defrost cycle, in which case no motors will run. If it continues to remain silent, re post your problem.

Hi,
Finding an intermittent problem like that can be very hard....I would feel that it has to do with the defrost control sticking... at least that is where I would start to look for trouble...
Many times a freezer and/or refrigerator
do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other
things that can go wrong.
If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the
last two tips.
If your refrigerator is running but warm, then…
Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start
trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling
a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

Good day,
I assume this is a conventional freezer, not a frost free model.
That condition is caused either by a loss of refrigerant or an internal restriction in the sealed system.
Both are, I'm afraid terminal, unless the machine is under 5 years of age, in which case it would be covered by factory warranty.
Blinking CE and temp...

Everything in our freezer is frozen solid except
If this is a self defrosting model make sure that you don't have frost build up on the back wall of the freezer causing the air not to circulate like it should. If you do have frost build up other items will eventually start thawing as well. If this is the case you have a defrost problem.
If this is not a self defrosting model then make sure it does not need defrosting.
You normally will notice ice cream being soft before you notice other things thawing.
Also make sure the door is shutting good and you may try putting the ice cream in a different location.
