I have Windows media player 12 on a Dell PC
Where are you trying to transfer the music and video files from? You need to at least point media player to the location of the video and music files and it will "transfer" them into it.
Let me know, where are you storing the music and video files?
Thanks
Tim

I have a Windows media player that doesn't seem to
If it's not a newly installed or if you've opened the Windows Media player recently or previously on the same computer, you'll not be asked or it'll not automatically add the media files to the Library, you have to add them yourself manually.
I assume your Windows Media Player is version 10 or version 11. To add the media files manually, follow the steps below:
Open the Windows Media Player.
Click the "Library" Tab.
Right click the "Library" tab and select "Add to Library"
Click "My Personal Folders" then, "Advanced Options" and again click "Add", now browse the folder where you saved all your media files you want to add to the Library. Click "Ok" when you have clicked on the folder you want to add to the library, it'll automatically add all the contents of the folder to the Library. If there are several or many folders, you have to repeat the same process till you add everything.
If this is not the case and you suspect something with your Windows Media Player, let me know with more details.
Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

My computer stand alone speakers just stopping
Hi, click on the "Start Button," in the (right pane) Control Panel, next in the category listings, select Hardware and Sound, open, and click on the "Manage Sound Devices." The Sound window will open; click on the "Playback" button, there should be a Speakers Icon, click on it, look below to find the "Properties button, click to open the next window. In the next window there will be (4) four buttons "General, Level... First click on the "General" button, in the top of the window there will be a "Driver" button, click on that button to open. Select to "Update Driver," just click on it, the Drivers will be updated for you. Next you can go back and press the other areas, Speaker Level etc... Next if you have a "MIC" do the same for the Microphone as you done for (Speakers) in the [Recording] category. Note: "Remember to click on the "Apply and OK buttons afterward to make sure the changes take effect. "Restart the computer to finalize the changes." "Rate the solution on it helpfulness, its away of letting me know if you resolved the the problem or you need further assistance, thank you."

Click
here to go to their website for the file download and check out the full details of the software.

How to save songs to USB using windows media
Hello Sir,
If by "USB" you mean USB Stick (pen drive).
Then after plugging device into USB port, open "My computer" then find it as removable device, open as a normal folder and just drag and drop files in it.
Same you do with all new mp3 players and so.
Cheers,
Mike

Make a new folder, put the movie in it, put the subtitles in it and nothing else, make sure its name is EXACTLY the same as the movie file with a different extension of course, launch WMP and go to that folder, select and launch the movie - the subtitles will be automatically loaded.
