not car, is electric EV motory cycle or EV moped (it has pedals) batteries are charged and then load tested with a tool called the same powered by 1000-watt motor powered by a 48-volt 17AH Samsung battery. SAMSUNG Lithium Ion 48v not 12v. so bad charger, wrong battery put there or battery is bad we cant see what IS there blind so learn to test the battery first they fail at 1000 cycles, (short lived they are) you year told or how old battery is. any shop can test the battery and charger that came with the bike. let them?

Remove the 2 Philips head screws securing the rear mudguard and the 2 on the LHS rear axle cable protection cover & slide the cover off. Disconnect the rear brake. undo the rear axle nuts. Loosen the chain adjusters and slip the chain off. You may also have to deflate the tyre to get it past the mudguard.

The brake handles have each have a switch button that must be pressed for the motor to work. (Actually what happens is that when you pull the break lever it unpresses the button so the motor won't work against the brakes). Just tape the switch down for the time being. Electric Bikes Northwest and David Hawkins might be able to help you with bike parts. I've gotten some parts from him for my La Free Sport. Very few bike shops know anything about these bikes. The on/off switch mat not be completely opening the circuit. There is a high resistance circuit between the battery and the light even though the switch is in the off position. Check this with a multimeter on the resistance (ohms) scale. If the switch checks out ok, you will have to find the fault somewhere else in the circuit. Measure the resistance in sections of the circuit until you find the fault, then fix it.

Couple possibilites. If it is just a matter of your battery clips coming undone, tighten the with pair of pliers then reattach. If it cuts out, then reengages when you start pedaling, either your controler is shot, or you have a ground short on your wheel hub. How long does a charge hold, and how often does it cut out?

the price is $22 as a standard level 4 original batteries but beware of duplicates

check for broken earth wire between hub and plug.i had same problem,i found a second plug half way along loom inside a piece of innertube sealed at ends with plastic tyes, 2ml black wire good luck.

You disconnected while under power didnt you? if so the controller output transistor(s) have failed. most likely the cause why it doesn't work anyway.

If the battery has charged and you confirmed this by testing the voltage, then it could be that the battery and/or switch has dirty contacts. Try cleaning the contacts or removing/refitting the battery a few times and turning the switch on/off a few times.

You can download the workshop manual from a few websites, including this one APRILIA Enjoy City Workshop Manual I would start by checking and cleaning the battery contacts where they connect the battery to the frame wiring harness near the seat post. The controller requires both 24V and 12V to activate the motor. If the battery gauge is indicating a full battery then it may be that the controller is not getting the 12V feed. First, on the positive side connect one side of a switch, then connect the other side to the cut wire.

I am not familiar with Sakura, but if it is fitted with e-brakes then you could try disconnecting one then the other to see if it now works. If it does then your ebrake is faulty & you need to replace the brake sensor in the e-brake or the complete e-brake lever.
