This problem is usually caused by corrupt files in Windows usually caused by a crash or sudden shut down (like a power-outage.) It's unclear... what do you mean by: "two opening screens"? If at Login you have two users you can manage them at User Accounts in the start menu (or from Control Panel). If at boot you have more than one Operating System, than you can remove one of those. Please be more clear about your problem. What does it consist of? How to reproduce it? Where does it apply?...

To restore a previous version of Windows you will need the CD and product key. Inset the disk into the drive and follow the set of instructions. If the version of Windows you are using does not allow you to install a previous version the hard drive will need to be reformatted. Make sure to save all personal data before doing so.

Unfortunately, your LCD screen is going bad. Well actually it could be one of three things: the LCD itself is going bad, the cable is bad or loose, or the video processing portion of the motherboard is going bad. Has the laptop taken a fall lately? If you are handy with a small screwdriver and not afraid to open up the laptop, then you can try to make sure the cable is plugged in securely. To do this, first take out the battery and unplug the power of course. You will need to remove the bezel around the LCD screen. Remove any screws that are holding it on (they may be behind small rubber covers), and gently pry the bezel off of the sides of the LCD. Also, there should be a removable strip of plastic on the main part of the laptop up where the power button and the LED lights are. You can pop it up to remove it as well. You may need to remove the keyboard first to do this. The keyboard screws are on the underside of the laptop and should have a "K" next to them. The keyboard should pop up with gentle force after you have removed its screws. When you have access to where the LCD connects to the main part of the laptop, you will see a small metal--coated cable that runs into one of the hinges. Make sure it is plugged in securely to the LCD screen and also the motherboard. You can power up the system with the laptop like this and jiggle the cable to see if it makes a difference. If there is no difference in the screen when you have secured the cable in the plugs and jiggled it, then the LCD or video processor is bad. If it is the LCD, it is not too expensive to replace it, but if it is the video processor then unfortunately you would need a new motherboard.

absolutely no noticeable noise (reading) during startup, no detection of a separate disk drive (my computer), then you've possibly left something unplugged or the CD drive has an electrical prob. with it. All disk drives always have a large flat datacable for readingwriting, data-transfer and a small separat cable for power which both need to be plugged in the proper direction safely with all the valuable pins which can't be damaged, even once... Unless you have good experience with CP hardware repair, I'd respectfully recommend carefully examining your changes you've made since the first removal and try to verify all the changes have been made correctly.

You should reconfigure the energy saving options in DISPLAY and lengthen the On time from a few minutes to the length of time you wish. This is not a hardware but a Software Issue, but I don\'t know what Operating System you are using for more specific information. Well you not going to like this but you have to take your laptop apart there is a small battery inside that store that info and once unplugged it will reset the password... I recommend finding instructions for the proper way to disassemble your laptop ..... altho sometimes this battery can be found on the bottom of your laptop under one of the small panels that can be removed but not usually ... most the time its under the keyboard or even deeper inside the system ....GOOD LUCK
