James, if you don't know your password, or it isnt' taking it, you will have to removed the CMOS battery. This looks like a watch battery. Remove the screws from the bottom of the case and then lift up and remove cover. Carefully remove the hard drive and memory modules by spreading the latches on the side and gently unseating the memory. Place the components on an anti-static sheet. Turn the computer over and remove the keyboard from your system. Remove the small, round CMOS battery from the motherboard. Leave it out for 60 seconds and then put it back in. Reassemble.

unplug the power cord, remove the battery, with these removed, hold down the power button for 15 seconds. Replace the battery, plug in the power cord and try starting it up again. Hope it helps.

you can try the power system check by doing the following: To verify the symptom of the problem, power on the computer using each of the following power sources: 1. Remove the battery pack. 2. Connect the power adapter and check that power is supplied. 3. Disconnect the power adapter and install the charged battery pack; then check that power is supplied by the battery pack. If you suspect a power problem, see the appropriate power supply check in the following list: "Check the Power Adapter" "Check the Battery Pack" Check the Power Adapter Unplug the power adapter cable from the computer and measure the output voltage at the plug of the power adapter cable. See the following figure 1. If the voltage is not correct, replace the power adapter. 2. If the voltage is within the range, do the following: * Replace the System board. * If the voltage is not correct, go to the next step. hello, pls check if the RAM is seated correclty this also can make the pc not to start or replace the RAM's they could be damaged for sure it has to come on unless otherwise .

If it has a built in webcam, then it has a built in microphone (usually a hole next to webcam). Otherwise, use a cheap headset.

click start button then click control panel and recovery and pick system restore or advanced for other restore options

If you've checked to make sure it's fully charged or plugged in and charging then you might want to go to your main computer and re-name a virus/malware program and then plug the tablet into the main computer. Download the re-named program to the tablet. Just a suggestion
