Check the cubes that are being made, they should be the same size crescent shaped. If they are not solid and some are hollow or broken then you are not getting enough water to the refrigerator. This is usually caused by the little valve on your house piping that connects to the refrigerator being plugged with sediment.
If the the cubes are all solid and the same size check the temperature of the freezer, it needs to be below 10 degrees F and works best below 5 degrees F. If it is warmer than that it will only produce ice on a very slow schedule. If you do not have a thermometer ice cream is a good indicator of temperature. If ice cream is hard the temperature is below 5 degrees F, if it is soft you are not cold enough to make ice cubes either.
If all this checks out alright you may need to have the ice maker replaced. the modular ice makers are available for sale at most all part retailers.
Hi! There,,,If you want help, one needs to explain the problem.. A refrig is quite simple in opertion, with time used experience. For a side by side the freezer is cooled with the same system as the refrigerator cooling system. One and only.
Freezer works, do you mean it is provining design temperature of some -10 deg F??? Do you have a by-pass duct between the the two. yes, then open it up more, disconnect motor is auto, and prop vent open, set refrig temp to a low temp say 40 deg F. are we cooling??? Post your condition, if you want further info Regards,,,fmauka
LOOK AT THE END OF THE HOSE WHERE THE WATER FLOWS OUT CHECK FOR A BLOCKAGE MOLD ETC... IT MIGHT BE TOO THAT THERE IS AIR IN THE HOLDING TANK KEEP FILLING GLASSES TO CLEAR LINES
Coldspot 106. Model
This model refrigerator is a relatively small refrigerator. It is a Freezer on top model, and Sears documents lists this unit at 18.1 cu ft. I hope that answers your question about capacity.
I'm glad I could help. If you need anything else, just let me know.
In reality, when you buy a replacement, you buy by dimensions to fit the space not cubic feet of the old one. Go to Home Depot armed with a tape measure.

Turn it off by removing the wall plug for 10 minutes. This will do a power rest to the control electronics. This is a bottom mounted freezer, so cold air for the fridge is vented upwards by a fan. Make sure it is running and there are no ice blockages. Strangely they call the fan in the fridge an
Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor. The part is obsolete anyway.
If it normally says 4 for the fridge, that would be 4 degrees Centigrade, which means the freezer should show minus 18'C. Or 36'F Fridge / 0' F Freezer/
This shows all the parts.

Not normally a flapper. There is a trap on the rear outside cabinet just below the level of the freezer. Remove it and soak in hot water and bleach for 20 minutes, then flush all the debris out, shake it dry and reinstall.
