Kenmore microwave convection 721.67909 stopped working. No display either. Keys don't work. Help please Thanks Sarah Watts

Sounds like you blew a fuse. If the unit has a user-replaceable fuse, or fusible link, it will say so in the manual. There is probably a "Troubleshooting" section in the manual.

Kenmore 721.80400 not heating

If a turntable and it is not moving suspect a safety switch in the door, if no table or it is moving suspect possible inverter board or Magnetron itself either of which can be pricy to have replaced.

Replace a fuse for a Panasonic NN A554W

To replace a fuse, unplug microwave, remove top,"several screws" look to the right where the keypad control board is, now look down where the circuit board is, there should be a fuse clipped in, pop it out and replace with the same current rating, assemble before testing, lethal voltages.

How can i replace a schneider microwave oven light

Take the outer casing off, just remember there is one security screw from the eight you take out. once you have done that then there is a metal sheild around the bulb holder 2 further philips screws to take then just replace the bulb and re assemble, note the cover is like tongue and groove to get back on so make sure you line them up before screwing back together.

Kenmore Elite micro/convect model 64289.

F 11 code. it is a touch pad error.
if you just cleaned the control panel it may have water in the panel causing a key to stick.
If after a day or 2 it hasn't dried out - then you will need to replace the touch pad.

Visit www.searspartsdirect.com and enter in your full model number for a parts breakdown and schematics.

I bought a used Kenmore convection oven model

This unit is no longer supported by Kenmore. There are also no spare parts available from the manufacturer.
Your best bet would be the secondary market like eBay.

THIS ONE is a close model - but not exact.

Rack in microwave

You should not have any metals in the oven when the microwave is on. If you are just doing convection cooking, the metal rack should be in so that what you are cooking is raised up so the hot air can surround what you are cooking.

No power cannot turn on

Inside the unit behind the control pannel is a ceramic fuse looks like a car glass type fuse. To replace it you must remove the outer shell. First unplug the device,2nd
place on a flat work area,3rd remove the screws from the back of the unit,4th pull the outer shell back if it's stock a flathead screwdriver can be used to aid in removal,5th after removal look behinde the control pannel find the main power wires by following them from the back of the unit the fuse will be about 1" long and about as big around as a #2 pencil remove it carefully and replace it with a new ceramic fuse. The fuses are about $3.00
If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself find a repair shop it will cost about $35 dollars
Hope this helps

Was microwaving a hotdog on a paper plate covered

Yes there is.

Unplug the MW.
Uninstall from wall mount (if installed that way.).
Remove outer cover by removing the screws at back and (possibly) bottom sides.

Locate fuse. Replace only with an equivalent type and amperage.

You can test the MW without reinstalling or putting the outer covering back on.

Kenmore 363.6367 internal light doesn't go on

I had the same problem! I was soooo frustrated! But, when my brother came to town, he took off the grill on the top of the micro hood, took out a few more screws, a plastic screen, another screw in the metal cover for the light and then reached in with his fingers to pull out the light bulb, we replaced it, then re-assembled it. It did take us about 30 minutes to do the job and you will need a phillips screwdriver, and a phillips screwdriver drill bit thing, but we were able to do it. I love having the light in the microhood again.

The power button is not working

First try a hard reset.Unplug it a couple of minutes, then plug it back, set the clock, and try again.

A typical key sequence to cook for a minute a 70 percent power would be:

Cook Time (or "Cook") > 1 > 0 > 0 > Power Level (or "Power") > 7 > Start

It varies by brand and model.

If it still doesn't work you may have a failing keypad. If so, please leave it unplugged or leave the door open when it's not in use, and of course please do not leave it running unattended.

NOTE: FixYa's Web site is currently not notifying us when replies to our Clarification Requests are posted.

So please reply back directly to me with your brand and full model number from the tag in or on the unit for more help or free do-it-yourself tips or an estimate if required.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Hi,

Please find the diagramatic presentation for the replacement or removal of the door.

Do not be worried about the model if its exactly not the same as the basic removal process is 99% similar.

Thank You

Microwave will not heat anything.

If it is working but not heating, then test the high voltage capacitor, the rectifier diode.or the magnetron. If all this are fine, test the control board. If turntable is not running check also the door switch.

The diodeand capacitors can be tested. The capacitor must be allowed discharge before testing, or you risk to get electrocuted, evenif power is off.Capacitors can get discharged by shorting their two contacts.
Before replacing the magnetron test also the control board.
Replace the magnetron if the checks and all of the high voltage component tests are good, but the unit still does not heat.

All locations, and description of this parts can be located using the diagram here: Counter top.

Parts must be tested to find out what is wrong.

Remember that microwaves are potentially dangerous devices if not repaired properly, the job must be done by a competent person.
A microwave energy leakage test must always be performed when the oven is serviced for any reason.

Regarding parts, contact the seller here to purchase parts.

You can also order from MicrowaveSvc , they also provide parts.
