Water is flowing back to shower tray macerator not switching on

Usually Saniflo requires 8" or 9" from top of p-trap to floor level, not from top of shower base to floor level. If the base is raised 8" then you will have enough room to fit a p-trap without cutting the concrete, if you had cut the floor to fit the p-trap then the base is not raised high enough to maintain the water pressure inside to engage the unit.

Saniflow plus pump will not stop running. unit is about 4 years old.

The membrane located at the bottom of the pressure chamber might be warped, if it is, it will have to be replaced. Also, solids can be build up at the bottom of the membrane not allowing it to shut off, cleaning up the membrane could fix the problem.

The pump gets rid of the water in the pan but leaves paper and other deposits behind. I cleaned out the pan but the problem still remains and after about 2 weeks it needs to be cleaned/emptied again

Check the vent pipe, air must flow in and out of the vent pipe at all times. The vent pipe must be an 1 1/2" pipe coming off the top of the pump casing and vented outside the house, to the open air. Do not use a cheater vent, studdor vent or mechanical vents as they are not recommended to be used, they only allow air to flow one way.

The motor keeps running. i have opened it up and cleaned it there was a bit of cardboard in it put it back together it worked fine for a few flushes and water down sink and then stayed on?

You have to inspect the pressure chamber, there is a float switch at the bottom called the membrane. The membrane might be warped, if it is it will need to be replaced. Also, there might be solids build up at the bottom of the membrane not allowing it to shut off. Please refer to the installation manual to locate this items.

Saniflo not turning off after flushing

It could be a problem with the float switch that's bad, the micro switch may be stuck in the on position, or could be solids stuck at the float switch not allowing it to shut off. I suggest to open the unit and inspect the float switch.

Sani flow won't empty so shower toilet n sink all fill up

Most likely is the capacitor/condenser that has gone bad, if there are no blockages in the blade or impeller then the capacitor will need to be replaced. The capacitor is located inside the pressure chamber. Refer to the installation manual to locate it and call Saniflo to order the part.

How do i fit micrio switch

The microswitch is located inside the pressure chamber. The pump will have to be opened, the motor and pressure chamber will have to be removed out the top of the casing as one piece, the pressure chamber has to be opened and the internal components will come off the bottom, you can access the micro switch at that point. You can also download the installation manual from the Saniflo website.

Saniflo not working at all. no noise heard and water building in shower tray. do i need a new pump?

Depending on the model, might be a problem with the float switch (membrane) being defective or could be solids build up at the bottom of the membrane. Try cleaning the membrane first, also inspect it, it should look flat. If it looks warped then it will need to be replaced. You can always visit the Saniflo website to download the installation manual which shows you troubleshooting tips.

Pump randomly runs

This problem maybe caused by a slight weep of water from the cistern the saniflow has a sensitive float system , once level is reached the unit will turn on until required level is acheaved again . So check toilet bowl to see if the is a trickle of water if so you need to take a look at the flush system in your cistern.
