My beep quit! Beep used to work when the oven came

We have a Kitchenaid Superba gas stove and the beeps would not sound. We thought the control panel was shot, but we have a WONDERFUL repair man. Here was his re-set.....open oven door, push the cancel button, push stop-time button and hold that button for about 5 seconds. When the beep sounds let go and the panel is re-set. WOW!!!!

CAN'T SET OVEN HIGHER THAN 250DEG.F, DISPLAYED ERRO AND THEN START APPEARS. OVEN WILL COME ON, 250DEG. F MAX.

It sounds like you got the electronic oven control to expect temperature settings in Centigrade (Celsius) instead of Fahrenheit. Check your owner's manual to find out how to change it back to Fahrenheit. If you need further help, reach me via phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/ronald_e6b9572cebe3ad27

Kitchenaid KGSA906PSS00

I recently encountered this issue after trying "self clean" on my KitchenAid oven for the first time. I wish I had read these forums and simply avoided the feature. KitchenAid was, of course, completely unhelpful since my warranty was expired. This is the first they've heard of the problem; perhaps search engines are prohibited within the KitchenAid community and they are unable to view the complaints of thousands of other customers as I have... but I digress.

The solution was straight forward: Don't worry about the locked door for now and pull the oven away from the wall. Safety first: unplug your oven and turn off your gas valve. Now remove the back panel. There is a sheet metal strip near the top of the oven that must be removed before the back panel comes loose. With the back panel removed, look for a circular device with a blue and white sticker on it and the part number: 8300802. This is a thermal fuse that blows when the oven gets too hot (apparently "too hot" is a subjective measure as normal operation during self clean will cause this issue). You can check it with a multimeter if you have one... a failed fuse will have a high resistance. To ensure this is your only issue and to immediately unlock your door, adventurous types can bypass the fuse by connecting the two wires that connect to the fuse and hold them together with some electrical tape. WARNING: never operate your oven in this manner. This is a quick test to verify resolution of the issue; not a permanent fix. Apply power to your oven and presto, your door will unlock and your front panel will illuminate.

Now, use the aforementioned search engine KitchenAid has never heard of and search for your new fuse: 8300802. I got mine for $34... you can probably find it for cheaper but my patience was wearing thin by the time I got to ordering a replacement part.

Oh, and one last step: never ever under any circumstances use the self clean feature. Do not take the easy route like I did: get your Brillo Pad and your Easy-Off and get dirty, you lazy bum.

I have a Kitchenaide KGRT607HWH6 the oven gets up to temperature and then displays the F7:E0 code and shuts down What is this error code?

The error code "F7:E0" means "Invalid latch switch reading".The first thing I would do is check the interlock switch on the door latch and the door latch itself (the door latch assembly is located on the back of the range). The interlock switch must be closed when the door is locked. If there is nothing wrong, then check the wires from the switch to the control board. If wires are fine then replace the control board. Here is the interlock switchHere is the oven lock assemblyHere is the control board

My oven does not want to heat up - it always stays on LO? can u help

Do the top burners act properly, meaning giving high heat? Are you seeing black soot or just low flames? Low heat all around possible the gas cutoff in the kitchen has been turned down accidently. not an expert but have experienced the same problem with my new gas stove. The valve was almost off.
