The problem is I need

Hello wooddust97,

The problem is that when this unit is mass produced the price of the element is not an issue. However, when you are just trying to purchase the element all by itself it cost more than a new unit of the same make a model. Therefore it is not economical to sell or stock the heating element. Sorry for being the one to have to tell you the bad news.

Thank you for choosing FixYa.com

Have a KitchenAid coffee maker

An ERR 2 may be cleared by a simple reset of the coffee maker. This means unplugging the unit and plugging it back in. When powered back on, select a brew function to see if the error reappears. This may take a few moments.

If the code does reappear, ERR 2 indicates an internal error with the computer of the warming plate. This may be covered under Kitchenaid's 1 Year Hassle Free Warranty. I would advise you to call Kitchenaid Customer Service to see what options are available to you. Repair is not recommended, as it is not cost effective for the company or the consumer. That said, there are no specific offerings for certified service centers that may be recommended.

I have a Kitchenaid coffee

ERR 4 in a Kitchenaid coffee maker indicates a button is stuck in place. Please be sure to check all of your buttons and see if any are stuck depressed into the machine.

A .pdf user manual and exploded parts views for this machine are available online at Kitchenaid.com. Click "Customer Care" in the upper-right hand corner of the main page and then click "Locate Manuals and Guides." You will need to enter your model number exactly as it appears on the bottom of the appliance. You should find it on a white sticker.

If this is not helpful, I would suggest contacting Kitchenaid Customer Service to see what other options may be available.

Descale the machine twice!

that means getting rid of the limescale build up in the machine.
When the limescale becomes to much the machine slows dow.
buy a descaling solution at your local convenience store or grocery store. Use it as adviced on the bottle but do this twice in a row because a 30-40 minute brew means a lot of blockage. When you do it the second time turn the machine off after half the solution has gone through. Let stand for about 30 min and than turn machine on again. Flush twice with full pot of clean water and you will see that is will improve your time

Clean light on kitchenaid kcm112 won't go off

I found that the following clears the "clean" word that is flashing:
  1. Hold MODE and the + button for about 5 seconds.
  2. After the coffeemaker chimes 2 times, release the buttons.
Hopefully, the clean message will go off. As an aside, the warmer plate is so awful looking. I am replacing this coffee maker (KM222) with another (and cheaper) one.

Coffee pot has a salty, chemical smell.

Isopropol Alcohol is the wrong product for that issue. It is a pure alcohol solvent. I have two ideas, and the smell is probably from having water sitting in it an eventually drying out and fusing to limescale. I descale my machine every 6 months. I use CLR. https://www.google.com/search?q=kitchenaid+coffee+machine+descale CLR https://www.google.com/search?q=clr+coffee+maker The other product you might try is 5% Hydrogen Peroxide which is a non toxic, organic bleach. https://www.google.com/search?q=hydrogen+peroxide+to+clean+coffee+maker ..

Hi, I have a Kitchenaid 5KES100 espresso maker. It's making a loud noise and no water is coming through. Any help welcome.

The "percollator" column has become dislodged from the heating element. You may be able to see the tube in the water tank and move it back over the heating element. If you can't understand this info, then it is not for you to do it yourself.

Is there a way to reset a KitchenAid KCM1204 back to factory settings?

You will need to investigate the reason that it's not heating. Check the element and the thermal fuse that should be on the element for continuity. If the fuse has failed replace it and try it again. If the element has failed you may be looking at buying a new coffeemaker.

I have a KitchenAid KCM1402QG coffee maker and even right after running it through a cleaning cycle, the cleaning indicator comes on. Why so often?

Either the scale has not been removed or the sensing circuit has failed. From Kitchenaid, signs a coffee maker needs cleaned; 1, Cleaning indicator light comes on (select models) 2. Excessive brew times 3. Gurgling or other unusual noises during the brew cycle. So ignoring first condition, does it exhibit either of the remaining two? If yes, then likely remaining scale. Try letting descaling agent set, up to max period stated by mfg, then start clean cycle. If no, possible sense failure.

I love the kitchenaid coffee pot. after about 6 months, the water pours out of the bottom of the reservoir when filling it. So, I buy another one. Then after about 6 months, it happens again.

Leaking water from bottom of unit during brewing:
  • Verify that the water is leaking from the bottom of the coffee maker and not just running down the back during filling and pooling underneath. (Look under coffee maker - without lifting - to see if water droplets are hanging from bottom of unit)
Resolution: If verified that water is leaking from bottom of coffee maker Contact Us for further assistance. https://www.kitchenaid.com/service-and-support.html

I Have a KitchenAid coffee machine model 5KES0503. There is more water running into the drip tray from the capsule area than out through the spout into the cup. Tried descaling no improvement

Probably the device has calcium built up in it. Do a proper flushing round of at least 500ML (around 15 flushings) or do the "Decalcify" program with the needed tablet for the machine.

KitchenAid coffee maker shows ERR 1. Won’t start dripping

There is a blockage in the drip tray or inside the cavity where your coffee goes, give it a good clean out

HI I have a Kitchenaid artisan espresso machine it makes a very load noise when I press the buttons for coffee and froth any suggestions ? thank you

You don't say if there is any water flowing along with the loud noise. If there is none then my suggestion would be that it's a dry water pump so you will need to force some water up the clear pickup tube into the pump while it's making that loud noise. The pump valves will be dry.
