try to replace the fluidmaster it is either that or your supply line is kinked,that or check the little black hose inside the toilet tank make sure that hose is not kinked,if neither hose is kinked replace the fluidmaster

Replaced filling valve

sounds as though it needs the thing that lets the water in replaced, now a new one won't resemble your original one (or it might) but don't be alarmed, one fits all, you wouldn't want original replacement, cost to much....get a new one called a "fluidmaster", any hardware store, home depot and the like,....cherio, cracklin joe

Adjust the water level in the tank to the water level line in the tank. If the water is spilling into the open tube in the center of the tank, that will cause the water to run.

If water is not seeping into the tube, then maybe water is leaking through the rubber stopper and into the tank. You will have to replace that rubber stopper

If the flapper has a small cup attached to it that drains out slowly while the toilet is flushing, it could be emptying too fast. There should be some small pins attached to the cup that are there to be torn off and used to plug holes in the bottom of the cup. This will slow the drainage down and allow a longer flush.
If not that, look for something similar that will accomplish the same thing by allowing the flapper to remain open longer.

You will need to buy a closet auger (lowes or home depot)

Try an epoxy putty on the inside of the tank. If it is a slow leak then this will be fine. If yu have a large crack then you need to replace the toilet as it is nolonger in safe working condition and you would not want to have it break when you are away from home.

Get an epoxy putty that can dry while still wet and roughen up the inside surface of the tank with a bit of sandpaper or steel wool before to give the epoxy a good surface to adhear to.

it is all one piece,replace it with the same model. a plumbing supply house is the only place you will find what you need.

Open the rear lid of water closet. on the very inside rear of the flush valve there is a very then nut it unscrews in the clockwise rather then counterclockwise. I think that was the problem

Check the flush regulator - some are adjustable, but if not, they come in 20# and 30# flavors for different water supply pressures. They are located in the tank so you will have to remove the power flush mechanism/assembly to see.

In the one piece units, there is usually screws that fasten the flush valve onto another piece directly under it. If you would call them, they can guide you to the information you are requesting.

The Fluidmaster valve is clogged or defective.

lightly tap bolt up

turn the water valve off till you get back to repair it and sounds like a worn flapper

Do you have the model number? A lot of these systems use a pneumatic tube to send air pressure to a switch. If you have one of those, make sure the tube is not loose or cracked.
