Air switch
Air Switch Repair
It sounds like you have a bad air switch located in your motor.
The air switch is what the air hose connects to on the back of the motor or on the box on top of the motor. The other end of the air hose is connected to the air button on the lip of the tub.
This is a latching air switch and when you push the air button it latches to send power to the motor. When the air button is pushed again it opens the latch in the air switch and stops power going to the motor shutting it off.

Whirpool bath starts when I press button but stops as soon as I release button
Hi Joey, The problem is likely that the switch is installed incorrectly. I'm sorry I don't recommend or advise any repair of a appliance that is water/electrical by anyone other than an authorized repair person. Furthermore, I would not use the appliance again until you have have professional repairs done.

Tub will not turn off
If your pump will not shut off when you push the button on the tub then you have a bad air switch in the motor.

Hydromassage 1063
Not normal for that to happen but the jet faces on the two back jets may be turned off or down.
Try turning the face of the jet clockwise and see if you get more water flow out of each jet.

Pump runs normally with no water but surges when filled with water
When there is a load on the motor and it is surging this is an indication of not enough water getting to the front of the pump.
Check the water flowing inside the tub going from the jet opposite the suction cover.
Sounds to me like you may be getting cavitation because the pump is pulling in too many air bubbles from the jet.
Close the air control and/or move the direction of the eyeball from pointing at the suction cover and see if that helps.

Toilet tank is refilling slowly.
Hi AaronYC,
I'm Harvey the Master Plumbe.
Your problem is: Installed a new American Standard Cadet 3 toilet bowl and tank at home. When you turn the water supply on, the tank refills normally and stops normally. After you flush, the refill is very slow. When it refills normally the water comes out from the bottom of the pipe (i.e. the pipe that houses the float cup) and when it is refilling slowly, it comes from the top of the pipe. Sometimes (but not always), you can shut the water supply off and when you turn it back on, the flow of water goes from slow to fast instantly - but you haven't been able to recreate this consistently.
These are the facts. American Standard has been keeping costs down by out sourceing. Their toilets are now built in third world countries and parts are made cheap. They're all doing it. Quality control is pretty good but your toilet came with a bad "ballcock". That's the refill part on the left. Because it's new, if you take the ball **** back to place of purchase they should give you new. If not, they cost less than $ 10.00 and easy to replace.

Down stair toilet bubbles when upstair toilet is flushed. never had this problem with old toilet
The roof vent for the toilets is shared. It is the pipe (on the roof) that lets water in the drain system. When clogged, it causes what you have. A garden hose placed in the roof vent (and turned on) may clear the blockage (could be leafs or pine straw or a dead bird). Needs to be cleared... I have used a plumbers snake with 100% success....but you may not have one...so the garden hose suggestion. Be careful on the roof.

I have a jetted tub and it won't turn off. I have a single button in the back right corner and i don't know what to do!
Right now you are having to turn it on/off by using the circuit breaker or just unplugging the pump right?
Is this a button you depress or an electric button like you would find on a microwave?
If it is a button you depress to turn it on/off then the problem is most likely the air switch located in the motor under the skirt of the tub.
If it is an electric button then it may be the control box under the tub that needs to be replaced.

We have 3 toilets in the house. the tanks won't refill after flushing
You may have dirt getting into your water from the well and clogging the fill valves in your toilets. Valve assembly can be opened and cleaned out from the top. Instructions are available on AS website for your model. (Note) If you are picking up material from your well, a sediment filter should be added to your water line.

Water wont stop running
Water is either running (1) into the overflow tube or (2) out to the toilet under the flapper at the bottom of the tank. If (1) lower the ball or float. Done differently depending on model. If (2) replace the flapper with new flapper designed for your model. (Note: Raise manually the float valve and if water still runs out the little tube that goes into the overflow tube then fill valve is defective. Replace it.)
