Which wires to connect to a new solenoid on Dixon ztr 4516k?
The solenoid should have three posts. Two large contactor lugs and a smaller terminal for control (batt pos). The solenoid frame must be securely attached to the mower chassis as it is the control winding return path (batt neg).
The large gauge red wire from the positive battery post and 2 smaller red wires stack on to one contactor lug (post 1). The other large gauge red wire from the starter goes to the other contactor lug (post 2). The small yellow wire goes to the smaller solenoid control terminal (center post) and energizes the relay with battery positive from the ignition switch S (start) terminal.
Refer to attachment, wiring diagram.

I just bought a new
The exact same thing happened to me. I was about to bring it back to the store, but was able to figure it out. The black frame that holds the bag has two bolts that screw in at the bottom. Look for the black nobs. Unscrew both, pull the frame out 8 inches until it lines up with the new hole and insert screws and tighten. Cord will then pull normally. I have no idea why they do this and it's not in the manual, but there was a confusing sign on the engine that illustrates this procedure. Annoying, but an easy fix.

What is the best wood material to build a storage shed?
Tanalized pressure treated cedar Joe. It looks nice, smells great and holds up well in the weather. If you don't stain it, the finish will go a soft grey, and if you want to bring it back, you can pressure wash it. Larch if you can get it, comes second. My waterwheel in England was cast iron, but the timber was Larch, and it lasted really well.
I hope you are doing well Joe and as it is Thanksgiving weekend in Canada, I will wish you a good one in advance!

JD 185,Starter turns but not starting, power but no spark. Blade switch off. Now what do I check?
Spark requires ignition switch in run or start and operator in seat. Try disconnecting the seat switch.
If still no spark check the green wire at the ignition switch terminal M (magneto) for continuity to battery negative (ground). With ignition switch in the off position the green wire will have continuity to ground. In any other position it should be open or high impedance.
Comment for further assistance.

My Scott's 15hp/42 cruise control riding lawnmower will not move after releasing clutch/ brake
It's a rebranded John Deere. See following URL for parts diagrams..
https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/search/type/model/term/S1642
Check the transaxle drive belt is intact and not loose when brake is released. The belt runs from the top drive pulley of the engine to the back of the unit to power the transaxle.
Owners manual is also available for no fee download on the JD website

Ride on mower coil keeps burning out
Overheating of the engine and faulty ignition coil components, such as spark plugs and cables, are the most common causes of repeated ignition coil failures. If your ignition coil becomes too hot or becomes burned out after a few attempts, the reason may be due to incorrect spark plugs

Husquavrna Lt1536 not cutting
Remove belt tension and test the tension pulley arm (55) rotates freely and spring (148) is in place. See attachment.
Husqvarna (USA) lists the belt as discontinued and no substitute. I find the belt should be 92.5" in. If measurement is questionable then take the belt with you to a local supplier and compare lenth of old belt to a new belt of known length 92.5".
