The timer no longer plays

Three things to look for:
1) If sprinkler turns on-off but doesn't advance to next zone, then Sprinkler Valve is suspect, and timer is good.
2) If sprinkler stays on all the time, or never turns on, then Timer is suspect.
3) If sprinkler turns on-off, but leaks when it's supposed to be off, then Sprinkler Valve is suspect, and timer is good.

I changed the t8845pv timer and the clock dial

Are you sure wiring is correct.
If Line wires from breaker box are reversed, the clock motor does not get power, so clock does not rotate.
Separate wires and turn power ON, and then test each wire to bare ground. Tester lights up on Hot wire.
Then test Hot wire to each other wire except bare ground wire, and tester lights up on Neutral.
On the wiring diagram, Hot wire is L1, and Neutral is N

Also check voltage of clock motor. If unit calls for 240V and your line wires are 120V, then clock does not rotate.

Intermatic site is down this weekend and I can't access manual to see exact wiring.

Add a comment with more details.
Intermatic site will be up again tomorrow and I will look at manual and post on this thread if needed.

The time works, but SOLENOID

http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Intermatic-t8845pv.pdf

http://waterheatertimer.org/Intermatic-trippers-and-parts.html#sprinkler

T8845PV has 2 yellow wires for 24Volt output that powers solenoid.
1) Yes the yellow wires connect to two wires on solenoid.
2) 120Volt power arrives from breaker box. Black hot wire connects to Line terminal screw. White neutral connects to Neutral terminal screw. Check for 120Volts across both terminal screws.
3) Next check that output on yellows wires is 24Volts. The manual does not specify if that is 24Volt AC or DC. I assume that means it is AC. Buy cheap multimeter at home center to check 24Volt output.
4) Tests from 2) and 3) will tell you if 120V circuit is problem or if transformer has gone bod or if solenoid is suspect.
5) T8845PV uses T8845PV transformer, but it might be cheaper buying whole new timer and then snapping new mechanism into existing box

Clock dial doesn't move

You posted under Intermatic outdoor sprinkler timer.

Intermatic clock motors can be replaced.
Clock motor has identifying numbers printed on motor.
Tip mechanism out of box using thumb spring located inside box at top.

Google search for that motor number, for example WG1573 is 240V clock motor for T104 timers.

Aplus sells Intermatic clock motors:
http://www.aplussupply.com/intermatic/timermotors.htm
Electric supply sells clock motors

Intermatic online store is expensive option:

Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, expert speaks with you over phone while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

How do I install a T8845pv sprinkler timer. What

http://www.intermatic.com/~/media/files/intermatic/products/instructions/timers/t8845pv%20-%20english.ashx

The timer is used to power a low-voltage sprinkler solenoid valve.
A solenoid is an electrical switch that opens and closes a gas line or water line.

The yellow wires go to your sprinkler system solenoid valve.
The solenoid is the valve that turns water on-and-off.

The 120Volt electric cable that runs the timer connects to the Line and Neutral terminals.
Black to Line terminal, white to neutral terminal

The clock repeats each 24 hours.
Lift and rotate dial until current time lines up with silver pointer

The skipper wheel has pins >> press pin down for each day you do not want watering
Rotate skipper wheel counterclockwise until current day lines up with 14 arrow

Put tripper pins on yellow dial
Each pin represents 12 minutes of watering
To water for 48 minutes, put in 4 consecutive pins
Put pins on wheel at the time you want watering to take place.
To water twice a day, put pins at two different times, and do not put any pins between those times.
