sunbeam rice cooker dead

I have a sunbeam rice cooker working fine and all sunden there no power on the rice cooker. I have test the wall outlet power input which is working fine. I assume the fuse inside the rice cooker burn out the fuse. I could not located the fuse from the inside as opend up everything from the bottom panel rice cooker .Please email to me at [email protected]

the only type of fuse in this cooker would be a thermal fuse and its probably spot welded into the circuit due to the hi temps that would melt normal solder,it takes special equipment to re-install

here is the manual for rc160 rice cooker. right below the picture of the unit it has manual clickon that and it will pull up in adobe reader.

you add 2cups medium grain rice and three cups water ( yields about 6 cups cooked rice) you should have a lever Cook/ done push lever down and it will come back up when the rice if done, allow about 4-5 min to let it finish steaming

that is your steam ring for on the bottom if yo want to steam something

you use a steaming ring for when you steam vegetables or fish.
Rival is not my favorit product but HERE you can find some tips etc.

it can be used to put a dish on inside the pot under the steaming basket for fish etc. look at the link i gave you

yeah it has a short in it or just a wire lose from the heater.
open up and check. If you have an ohm meter check the heater. It should not be infinit
