I have a Maax Calla
What does this control look like? Can you email us a photo of the control?
usually that error code is a water level problem.
MAXX code E01, jets don't work
well first of all i have to assume that this tub is equipped with jet's on the floor and lights,if not then there's no reason for it those buttons to light up, now if it is equipped with these features and your getting a error code all this means is that this tub need to Re Configured to run this type of system, this is something a tech needs to look at because you wouldn't be getting error codes if the tub was configured wrong the reason your getting error codes is because something isn't plugged in correctly at the control box and the computer detected a fault.

E06 on newly installed maax calla
E06 is the water sensor, The tub will not operater if there is not enough water in it. If the water level is not the problem, it is most likely a bad water level sensor.

Rotten egg smell in bathroom closet?
I can't tell about your water supply from this posting. Is it possible you have iron or sulfur in your water that only shows up in the hot water? If so, you may not have drained the water heater often enough to prevent problems. Usually, draining it about every 6 months will do it. To drain the water heater, turn off the energy source (electricity or gas), turn off the inlet valve, and connect a water hose to the drain at the bottom of the tank. Open the drain ****. Some don't have handles and require a flat blade screwdriver to open them. Run the drain hose down the driveway so the hot water from the tank doesn't kill your lawn. By the time it reaches the street, it should be cooled off enough not to hurt anything. If it's been a while, you may want to weight down a trash bag at the end of the hose so the water and sediment coming out don't stain your concrete driveway. Let the water from the end of the hose dissipate over the trash bag. It takes about 30 minutes to drain a 40 gallon water heater. It goes faster to carefully open the overflow pop off valve to let air in while it's draining. When it's drained, close off the drain spigot, open the incoming water and when it is quiet again (full), turn the energy back on. You may have to relight the pilot or click the igniter until it flashes one time to let you know it's working. You should have hot water again in about 30 minutes. If the smell in the drain persists, some baking soda and vinegar flush will normally take care of that.
