Sounds like the nonstick coating is loosing its' nonstickability to me.

Try allowing the bread and pan to cool for at least 15 minutes, maybe more like 30 minutes, before attempting to shake the finished loaf out of the pan.

Discard the machine. The heating element is not serviceable.

I will advice you check manualsonline.com to search for the manual of your Cookworks Breadmaker B6989.

Find the SB846 manual with the breadmaker manual search engine.

on your next loaf use 2 tablespoons less liquid.

If you are comfortable doing so unplug the unit and then take the bottom panel (underneath) off and see if the belt has snapped or come off. If yes you will need to replace the belt, reattach the belt.
