Pulsar Tech Gear PF3183 Wrist Watch Questions & Answers
The stop watch arm stops
Sounds like the reset gear is off by a tooth or two, and will have to be reset, which means servicing.
Take it into a local watch repair shop and see what they can do. If they can't help, contact Pulsar support, and they will provide a nearby authorized repair facility. Since they don't have a web support site, refer to the literature that came with the unit.
Good luck, and hope this helps.
Watch #w860 How do I
Is this a Pulsar Watch as indicated? IF not what brand of watch do you have, I am not seeing anything about an enlarge display on a Pulsar 860...
Please let me know, just reply to my answer here and I can definitely help.
Thanks,
Tim
No manual
On the Pulsar website they tell you that the manuals are organized by "calibre" number. I did a search and I think the calibre number of your watch is NX14. If that's right, here's a link to the manual:
http://www.pulsarwatches-europe.com/PDFUpload/NX14_E.pdf
If that's not the right calibre number then look at this Pulsar site to find out what is the right calibre number:
http://www.pulsarwatches-europe.com/instructions.asp
By the way, Internet Explorer kept telling me I need to download a Language Pack when I clicked on the above links. I just hit "cancel" and everything loaded fine.
At last count far less than half of the solutions I've provided have gotten a vote or a response. I think the benefit of this site is when a solution (right or wrong) get's some feedback so others can learn from it...my two cents.
Pulsar watch s/n 462596 takes what battery
Best advice.
Tip & How-To about Watches
Changing Watch Batteries
Lots of posters ask "what is the battery in my (name of watch)" with a view to changing it yourself. This is a bad idea for many reasons. You don't have the tools or knowledge to remove a rotary screw on back, or the gasket sealant for a waterproof watch. Some fashion watches have 4 traditional screw and need professional grade jeweler screwdrivers. Also, there are about 20 batteries commonly used in watches, in various sizes and internal technology, Lithium Ion, Silver Oxide and Manganese Alkaline. If you buy them, you generally have to buy 10!
Don't sweat the details. Just take the watch to your local jeweler. They have all the batteries at hand and the tools to remove the back. It is done whilst you wait for $8 to $15!

Watch serial numbers
Model numbers and battery details etc. on Pulsar watches are normally stamped on the back plate but the serial numbers can sometimes be found on the inside of the back plate.
