Hello :

This happens because of a bad door switch . The plastic mounts inside the microwave which hold the door switches and onto which the door latches lock when you close the door .

Check also the turntable . It could be out of it's right place .

WARNING :

1:Don't slam your microwave door because this may cause the fuse to blow and this is the reason of bad door switch problem .
2: A microwave is capable of giving you a serious electrical shock even when it's unplugged , so I recommend you to call a repair technician for help .

NOTE: To answer your intial question, YES you can still use the microwave oven, but it is recommended that you stop the oven about midway through the cooking process and rotate your food to ensure it is heated evenly. Early model microwave ovens did not have a rotating carousel and it was often listed in the cooking directions to rotate your food this way.

THE TURN TABLE MOTOR IS DAMAGED OR HIS WIRE IS BROCKEN.

listen for a click not just a beep, if it doesn't click the relay is bad on the pc board, if it clicks the trace may be blown to the relay

check the door switches and magnetron

the door lever behind the button is broken or knocked out of place. you will have to remove from the wall to find out

cheap and effective way to fix is to gently remove the plastic ring from the inner door with a butter knife or small blade screw diver and attch the door hook spring to the inside metal fins

probable door switches

need to make sure all you wires are connected properly,
and there is the possability the magnetron has gone bad.

The "stop" pad on your keypad may be worn out.
