Sounds like the magnetron has failed. This is the component that produces the microwaves that heats the food.
The cost of the magnetron is about 95% of the cost of a microwave oven.
Most people don't, for this reason, replace the magnetron, they replace
the whole oven which is probably what you will end up doing.
There is a possibility that the circuit that provides power to the
magnetron is faulty and you need to take it apart, find the proper
electrical leads and test them with a volt meter. To do this you have
to remove it from its mounting and take it apart. It is a fairly
lengthy process however.
If you prefer to order the original Sharp parts (which are usually considerably less) look for the part number on a tag on the transformer or capacitor (whichever is bad).
The part number for the capacitor will be similar to RC-QZBOl8MREO and the transformer number will be similar to RTRN-BO59MREO. Again, these numbers are examples to show Sharp's number format.

This
is a problem in one of the damper-related components, most likely the
switch, but it may also be the motor or the damper door.
The
damper is a door inside that opens or closes depending on cooking mode.
If the controller senses that the door is not in the right position, it
will shut down the cook cycle.
Sharp models stop after
59 seconds.
See the attached sample
photo for a typical damper assembly.

The manuals have exploded views, part numbers, and disassembly info.
The best place to order parts for this brand is Encompass (formerly Tritronics).
Or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835. You have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.
Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

I also have a Sharp over the Range Microwave oven that requires a charcoal filter. But my diagram shows that the charcoal filter goes behind the slotted panel at the top of the microwave. To reach the filter, you must remove a screw on the top edge of the microwave. This allows the panel to come off. Your charcoal filter goes there. Since your oven is new, you do not need to change this filter yet because it's not dirty. I would save it for future use. According to my book, there are two kinds of filters with this oven. The charcoal filter is the one behind the front panel. The Grease filters ARE the two metal mesh ones. They can be cleaned with hot soapy water, or I put mine in the dishwasher.
It sounds to me that the fuse has blown out. this could be fixed at home if you are handy. You don't have to be super handy .I can walk you through this repair. DFD
