I suspect that the lower door latch has broken off. The lower hook is actuated by the push lever and in turn lifts the upper latch that of course is not being lifted.
Disconnect from the supply.
Remove the case from the microwave and you will see how the door latch actuator works. Lift it manually and you can open the door.
Do not try and use the appliance in that condition as it will take out its mains fuse as the door switches and latches for a safety interlock.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
If your unit runs for 59 seconds then stops, the problem is the convection damper motor or switch. Unfortunately, you cannot access this from the front - the whole unit has to come down as the entire outside cover has to be removed. This is a pretty major job and the motor (located below and behind the magnetron tube) is rather hard to remove and get back into place. This is probably better left to an experienced technician.
The solution is to replace the damper motor and switch. You can order it from the Sears. The motor serves two purposes. (1) Opens and closes the damper. (2) Operates the damper switch at seven times per minute. If the circuit board does not see the switch operating it shuts the unit down at 59 seconds.
Please get back if you have any further query or else accept the solution.

Can you adjust the oven temperature so that it is
That should be the default condition.
The
first thing I would suggest is a hard
reset. Unplug the unit for a
minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.
If that doesn't work,
leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.
In case it may help, the owner's manual is online here:

If it's not an operational issue, you probably have a failing
thermistor. The part number is FH-HZA053WRE0 (those are zeros, not ohs).

Unit runs for 59 seconds and shuts off
This is a problem in one of the damper-related components, most likely the switch or motor, but it may also be the motor or the damper door.
The damper is a door located on the right side of the innards. The damper closes and opens depending on cooking mode.
If you or a friend decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site, which is linked at our listing here on FixYa:

The

If the controller senses that the door is not in the right position, it
will shut down the cook cycle.
Sharp models stop after

My Sharp R-1870F microwave in
Hello,
Check the oven door if it locks up, the oven has an automatic feature that when it is not closed properly it won't initialize. Since it heats up intermittently I think the heating capabalities of the microwave is still good, and this problem might be just due to something that is preventing it to operate. which most likely the the locks of the door.
No microwave heat
If there's no microwave that means that the magnetron (the device that is generating the microwaves) is not active. The only thing that would stop a magnetron from working is the absence of power (the device itself is bulletproof - you need to hit him with a hammer to stop it from working). The power source of the magnetron is generating almost 1000 volts so the first thing that fails on it are the filtering capacitors they just fail under the stress and short. If the capacitors are shorted then the power source is seriously drained of power which would make the other big consumer - the convection heating resistance - to be underpowered and work at a lower level than normal.
Replacing the capacitors is a simple job, the problem is in doing that without being killed - 1000 volts is enough to instantly kill you if you touch it by accident. Take it to a repair shop and ask for a quote - if they want more than $100 it means that there are other parts that are approaching the end of life so just junk the unit, it will be cheaper to buy a new one in the end.
