You won't be able to print if one of the cartridges is out of ink. The printer needs all cartridges with sufficient ink levels to prevent damaging the printhead.Every time a cartridge is replaced, all colors are primed simultaneously thus the need for all cartridges to have ink.

Usually, pressing the power button, brings the printer out of power-save mode. Sometimes, the printer gets hung. If this happens, disconnect the power plug, wait 30 seconds and reconnect power.

Run a head cleaning mode this will usually fix the problem. If the machine hasn't been used for a while you might have to get in there with a q-tip a denatured alcohol and clean it.

Try reinstalling the software that came with it or download and reinstall the the driver from the lexmark website.

Most likely when you removed the paper jam a small piece of paper got jammed under one of the sensors. This is a very common problem. It is also possible depending on the model that you have dislodged one of the flags that activates sensors for paper travel. Check the back of the printer in the fuser area as these are the most commonly damaged sensors.
