Recently purchassed system from you plumber

These Tankless water heaters attempt to heat water as it quickly travels through a short series of heated copper pipes. A high volume of water at an accelerated speed has little time to heat up as it passes through its heating source. You can turn up the temperature (which you undoubtably tried) and turn the water volume all the way down. These settings will produce the hottest temperature capable of the unit - given the entry temperature of your water source.
Most underground water enters at app 52 degrees - and becomes even colder due to ambient temperatures. Difficult to raise this temperature 60-70 degrees in a few seconds of heating.
I've routed a series of copper pipes adjesent to the home heating system in an attempt to pre-heat incomming water. It's only a few degrees warmer, but results a 20- 30 degree hotter delivery.
I have installed some top end units that simply delivers Hot water without compermise.

I have a Bosch GWH 425 HNO propane Tankless Water Heater which began intermittently exploding when demand for hot water occurs.

Call a qualified service tech immediately.Gas explosion indicates dirty combustion parts, and gas is not fully igniting when tankless turns on the gas. So gas builds up and then explodes causing serious damage to tankless, and serious risk to homeowner. Bosch Aqua-star tankless water heater had water on

Water in the gas valve is DANGEROUS! The major question is did the water come from a leaking heat exchanger or the product of combustion? If it is from the heat exchanger it may be covered under the warranty (if the installation is proper). If it is from condensate in the flue pipe, it is from an improper installation. If you go to bosch-climate.us you can find a service provider in your area. I service a very large part of NY, some of NJ (Northern) and all of CT.

250sx quit working. Gas o.k. water flow good,

The gas pressure must be increased at the regulator from 9 inches of water column to about 12.5-13 inches of water column. The CO2 levels need to be adjusted for each installation. The air intake MUST come from outside the same wall as the exhaust. I have never seen any manufactures tankless unit installed properly. Plumbers do not read the manual.

Hot Water Hot to Cold And back. I had that problem for 2 years. I had a very large shower head from the time I installed the tank-less hot water heater and the water temp would change from one extreme to another. Over time my shower head had stopped working as well as it did so I bought a smaller shower head and installed it and amazingly my water temperature quit changing temperature. I now turn my water to what temp I want and it stays there. It's been working correctly for 6 months now ... until yesterday and it quit working completely which is the reason I'm on here. lol
