I do not recommend making gluten free breads using any expressbake program. Use the full length whole wheat program on your bread machine

Do you have your owners manual? Is this the first time you have used your machine, or is this a new development?

1: Open the top of the machine and remove the bread pan.

2: Put the kneading blade inside the pan and fit into place.

3: Add the ingredients according to the recipe you're using. If you are following a Sunbeam recipe from the manual, the order is clearly listed. If you are using your own recipe, pour in the wet ingredients first, followed by the dry ingredients and, finally, the yeast.

4: Place the bread pan back inside the machine and close the top.

5: Choose your preferred crust color by pressing the "Crust Color" button until your selection is showing on the screen. You can choose light, medium or dark.

6: Press the "Start" button.

Your drive belt has probably either broken or come off. Make sure your machine is unplugged and turn it on its side and take the bottom panel off. The belt is in there. If it has snapped or frayed you'll need to replace it. I have a few belts that might fit. I would need you to measure the size though by putting a piece of string around the big wheel and the drive shaft and then tell me the length in inches of that string. I could then check my inventory and see if I have one that size. If I do I could sell you the belt. There are several videos on you tube that show how to put a belt on a bread machine and you could install it yourself.

That means there is something wrong with your ingredients. Be sure the flour you are using is marked "bread flour" on the bag. Do NOT use "all purpose" flour.

The next time you bake bread use 1 tablespoon less liquid. If it still collapses then the 2nd time use one tablespoon less liquid and ONE MORE tablespoon of flour. That should do it!

Recommend you buy one of the commercial automatic bread machine mixes at the grocery store. They run about 3 or 4 dollars...If the bread doesn't turn out well then you DO have problem with your machine. If the store bought mix DOES turn out well then you have a problem with your recipe or the wrong kind of ingredients etc.....

Recommend you replace your unit with a good used machine if you want to save money or buy a new one. Many good used machines are on ebay and some new ones. I have several for sale this week. The auctions end Sunday. One of them is an almost new sunbeam.
