My suunto vector keeps going back in time?
Dear William,there must be a problem with energy (not enought) or too thin battery (did you exchange it latelly) - loosing contact when you schock the watch.Let me know when you check this...David

mcdevito75 here, Double check the battery install, make sure all contacts are clean, with the watch open see all buttons depress and are hitting points on the movement. When done, presss the mode button and display should come up.
Watch stops now and then, sometimes has moisture
We can not do physical watch repairs. Only advise can be given. You have to find your local watch repair shop and ask for help. You can find your local watch repair shop on internet - just type in your browser Watch repairs in California, USA (or wherever you live) and you will come up with plenty of them. You do not need any particular repair shop - go to your nearest and ask for help.

As you might have already found, their web site does not offer any facilities to download instructions but they do say " If you have questions about this or any other item in our stores, please call us at Toll Free 888-846-3388".
Give them a try, you never know, you might speak to someone who is familiar with the detailed operation of your watch.
Have GOT the replacement battery&cover;
I presume you mean that the battery won't seat properly. Sometimes this can be tricky to avoid damaging something in the watch. I use a bi-nocular microscope to really see what is happening. If I were working on it I would double check to see if you really had the right battery. Then I would see if there are screws to be removed that are holding down the battery clamp. Insert the battery and replace the battery clamp. Also make sure that the battery is not installed upside down. I hope this help. Please let me know how you make out.
Need bulb to illuminate face
It does not have a bulb or LED.
The whole display is a EL backlight.
Mine was out and it turned out to be a broken miniature coil on the PCB inside the watch.
