How to disassemble the back /the electrical part/ of Dyson DC44?
Check online for the model of Dyson you have. These units are not easy to take apart and you might have better luck if you have a repair shop locally to get help. Water and electrical parts do not mix well and you may have damage that is not easy to fix. The internet should have a manual on your cleaner and tell how to dis- assemble the unit, but most times they will refer you to a professional repair shop. Hope this helps. Viking.
Why doesn't on/off switch work?
Hi Heather, it's Jack at Dyson.
I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty with your DC44. If the machine displays a solid (not flashing) green light when you pull the on/off trigger, but the machine doesn't run at all when you do this, there may be a fault we need to provide some further advice on.
When you have your machine fully charged and easily to hand, please give the Dyson Customer Helpline a call to speak with our experts. My vacuum won't turn on or charge. How can I fix this?
Find an electrical tester and see if the charger is charging when it is plugged in.
If the charger is charging, there is a rechargeable battery inside your vacuum, which may have "died".
That battery may or may not be replaceable.
God bless your efforts.
Power cuts out but light is still on so has battery power
