I replaced the kitchen sink and hooked everything

Check to see that the cutoff valves under the sink are fully open. Also be sure that any shipping plugs or caps in the lines were removed prior to installation.

Instead of the headache, why don't you just replace the difuser? These are relatively inexpensive at home depot and are a simple thread in.

Slow cold water flow in faucet.

Modern faucets are made to be 'Eco', so less water flow and lower water consumption. If the water flow is a lot more on the hot side, there there is a fault with the cold. There aren't many reasons. Stuck shut of valve. Disconnect the braided line and open the valve into a bucket. Or the ceramic cartridge in the faucet is not correctly lined up. Or remove the strainer on the head, they can block with debris. ..

I have a delta touch faucet and the blue led light stopped working. The red is still lighting and the touch feature is working properly. How can I fix the blue led light?

  • Solid Blue - Normal operation, "Touch" mode is activated.
  • Flashing Blue - Normal operation, the hands-free mode is activated.
  • Solid Red - Warning mode - Replace batteries as soon as possible. While the water is running Solid Red LED is illuminated. When the water is off, the Red LED flashes once every 5 seconds. The faucet operates normally, solenoid valve is open.
  • Rapid Flash Red - Alert Mode - Battery Failure Imminent. The Red LED flashes once a second. The first time the faucet is used, the Red LED will turn ON, the solenoid valve will be opened and remain open. The manual valve must be used until the batteries are replaced.
  • Solid Red - Lockdown Mode - Replace Batteries. Extremely Low Batteries - The RED LED is ON, and water will not flow. The solenoid valve is closed and faucet will not operate until batteries are replaced.
  • Long Flash Red (2 seconds on / 2 seconds off) - Board error, replace electronics kit, RP53230 See manual bypass of electronics section of Installation instructions.

Delta Charmaine faucet (19962TZ) set screw button

Try using a suction cup to pull the button out. Place the suction cup over the button and pull it outwards. The suction cup should create enough force to pull the button out. If the suction cup doesn't work, try using a strong magnet to pull the button out. Place the magnet over the button and pull it outwards. The magnet should create enough force to pull the button out. If the above methods don't work, try using a flathead screwdriver to pry the button out. Place the screwdriver under the button and gently pry it outwards. Be careful not to damage the button or the faucet. If this does not work, try customer support for Delta.

How to either break or cut off a Delta single hand tap. I've tried everything to remove it?

Taps lock up and rust. Although the outside is nice and shiny chrome, the inside is brass and they use steel screws that rust in place. Turn off the water, replace the whole thing. Take the parts back where you got them and buy the new one. When you get the new one, remove screws and removeable parts and grease them up with Vaseline.

Delta Faucet RP13740 Bidet-Vacuum Breaker leaks from the top.

For me, the issue was the washer that's exposed on the underside of the circular brass piece that's exposed when you unscrew the top (I wasn't able to find any documentation that explains what anything is called). My washer looked fine, but I removed it, added some silicone o-ring lube i had and re-assembled. Stopped leaking.
