While making bread it has a sudden smell of something burning, what can this be?

That often happens because when the flour is mixed in the beginning small amounts are kicked up in a dust and can settle then on the heating element. Later when the heating elements comes on to bake that fine flour dust can smell for a few seconds. until burns off. If the smell doesn't go away after a while then you may have a problem

I forgot to enter the size of the loaf and I don't want it to bake for a 2lb loaf. I only added ingredients for a 1 lb loaf.

I would just check it around 40 minutes into the bake cycle. If it doesn't seem done let it bake another 5 minutes or so the shut the machine off.

Trying to make French bread in my toastmaster bread and butter maker. Bread rose, doesn't bake. Machine is flashing 000

If you pushed the button for "French" bread then you do have a problem. If you pushed the "Dough" buttton then the flashing0:00 just means your dough is ready.

How do I get the kneeding blade out of the bread machine?

soak the paddle in soapy water overnight with enough water to keep the paddle submerged. The next day wiggle it back and forth while holding the litte ears underneathe the pan. Move it up and down too. If it still doesn't break free go to you tube and type "how to remove a stuck bread machine paddle" have your husband do that move, but don' use more than one jug of water because the TBR15 pan is thin and can bend. Be sure your husband uses hot pads to hold the pan edges so he doesn't hurt his fingers. If that method doesn't work you will have to live with a stuck paddle or order a new pan assembly and paddle and then always remember to remove to soak your paddle after baking and remove it from the stem, clean, and store. The paddle doesn't seem to have a strong enough "push" behind it

Hello, Either the blade is sticking or the belt is loose. Take the pan out and see if you can spin the paddle freely by hand. The paddle should turn nice and free. If it doesn't then the lubricated bearing the paddle rotates on is sticking. This could be due to wear. Put some warm water in the pan and let it sit. Try a few times...DO NOT put the whole pan in water...just fill it. If that's a no go the lubricated bearing is frozen and the pan needs to be replaced. If everything is fine in the pan, then the belt is loose. Belt, pulleys and motor are located in the base of the machine. Remember to unplug first before working on it.. Hank

My paddle stays in the bread when the bread is

That is normal. If you choose light crust sometimes the paddle will stay in the pan if you are lucky.
