Try some PB Blaster. Wet a q tip and apply to the area at the base of the turret caps. Wait a few minutes and reapply. Then using a small pair of vice grips attempt to twist the turret covers off. A cotton cloth will help keep the gripping surfaces of the pliers from scratching too bad. Hope this helps.
Hello my name is jeff
Shooting out to 700 yards would be for Varmints out on the flat lands or Sheep, Elk in the mountains. Most good rifle shooters would try to get closer than that before taking a shot that far away. Now It will be a good hunting scope for any small or large caliber rifle. I might shy away from the largest magnums, depends on the eye relief. Yes it will use 1 inch rings. Hope this helps Fix Ya up.

to be honest its only a cheap tasco scope and to get it fixed and re-gased wont be worth it, so you just as well have a go at it your self,, look at the scop tube and you will find a screw in the tube this is the re-gas port undo the screw and put the scop some were in a very warm place,,,dont cook it?
when its fully dryed out get some carbon dioxide gas (for blowing out cameras) and puff the gas into the scope to forse out any bamp air ,,,refit re-gas screw,,,,this may work till you get it wet again

Round stuck in magazine tube wont reload a new
I thought I answered this a while back? You have a 30-30 win or marlin with a round stuck in the mag and you can't get it to move? Is it the right bullet? Take off the end screw and try to bump that thing out of there after removing the spring. You can try to drop the lifter out of the bottom of the receiver, and get to it from there, maybe after removing the end plug, you can get a dowel in there to push it through. Hope this helps.
