Deleting Files,Pictures,etc from MP3 Player
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Your media player should have a micro SD flash card in it. Your information should be stored on there so you information will be safe. You can purchase an SD adapter that your micro SD card can go in so you can use that with your PC. This way you can access the information. Hope this helps.

You should higligth the movie and press option button on top rigth File management/ delete. This is performed without a pc connection from the Archos itself

give them the lowdown and see what they come up with.

try to connect charger and if also it doesnt boot so ask the shop if they can replace

Your hard disk on your media player is corrupted which also does happen on a normal PC/Laptop. To fix it, use windows explorer -> right click on your mouse againt the media player drive -> select properties -> select 'Tools' tab -> select Error checking / Check now -> Tick on 'automatically fix file system errors and recommended also 'scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors' -> Start.
At this point, you may also need to restart your PC/LAPTOP and then be patient as 120GB is a fairly large drive to repair! Once the FAT has been repaired, depending on the corruptions, you may need to replace some songs, video, photos or other files.
ps. the other 'drastic' option is of course to reformat the whole Media driver drive !!!

Well you need to download the Flash player, the flash logo comes when some flash file need the flash software to play that file..... so you just click on that logo and follow the download instructions after downloading the flash software just install them.

You should swtch your TV to the video mode on to the video output chosen for the device. Check the video connecion type by following the output cables from the DVR station or charging dock to to TV. it could be video 1, 2, 3 HDMI, Color stream HD1 , Color stream HD 2, by scrolling down on the video mode list you should get the picture on on of them with correct video mode. or like i was saying follow the output cable from dvr station to Tv to see which video mode it was connected.

try hitting the reset button as a first step when it comes on. You might have to do a hard reset. Make sure you have either your original firmware or the latest from Archos saved on your desktop. When you do a hard reset if it comes to the Archos screen hold down the volume+ button until the white recovery screen comes on. If you have data you don't want to lose in it you might be able to save it if you try the repair or recovery function but if they don't work you will lose everything if you have to format. You probably will have to format sorry for the bad news but try everything first before formatting.

First you need to find a unsecured hot spot like McDonalds. If it is not unsecured you can not get on to the internet. There is no addon's that you can get to help get online.There are a lot of places Malls, Starbucks but stay away from places that want a credit card LOL.

You might want to try hitting the reset button when it comes on. the reset button is on the bottom next to the connectors you will need a paper clip. I hate to say it but you probably have to do a hard reset. Have you downloaded the latest firmware make sure you have either a copy of your original firmware or if you don't know which is your original firmware download the latest & save it to your desktop. When the archos screen comes on hold the volume button until the white screen with repair,recovery or format comes on first try repair or recovery your last choice is to format. Usually a hard format fix's most problems. I hope I have been helpful.

Windows 8 is and has been obsolete and unsupported for over 8 years. Time to update your OS. Linux is excellent, Ubuntu Mint is free and easy to use, the choice is yours.
