If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. You can format the player which will remove everything off of the player including your stuff, so back it up. You can do this by going into the players settings menu and select format. When it ask you if you are sure, select yes and let it format. After that, the device will be fresh to go with no factory loaded stuff on it.

Congratulations you have effectively run down the battery to 0. Plug this thing in an AC out charger and let it sit for about 8 hours. Then try turning the thing on. If you get nothing, then your battery is totally depleted to the point of no return and you gotta open this thing up and put in a new battery.
