License has expired?

Most services that offer "rental" mp3s will need to refresh the DRM on the music files after a set number of days. Typically 30 days.

I think you probably need to plug your player into your computer and connect to open the software for the service you rented the songs from so it can refresh the DRM for another set number of days.

I have had my Sony walkman NWZ-E436F for about 3

Hey... I know this thread is fairly old... but I will tell you what I did. I have the Sony MP3 walkman,NWZ-E438F.. Until recently I have had no problems just disconnecting, I had no way of sagely ejecting. Yesterday, I tried disconnecting, and the screen started flickering and and saying that it was still connected... and that was all I got... so I left it plugged in till this morning. I went to Sonystyle.com.
At the top of the screen, find where it says support, click on online product support. When it brings you to the next page, you will see an area where you can put your model # right to the right of all the icons. Enter your model number found on the back of your device and press enter.
On the next page toward the top, you will see a link under Drivers & Software. Click on that. Select your operating system on the next page, select firmware and follow the steps... It really said I was upgrading from a current 1.02 to a new 1.02, but after it was done, the screen on my MP3 Continued sayin do not disconnect, and I was able to "safely" disconnect my device buy right-clicking that Icon in the bottom right hand corner of your PC.

That is the only time you have to disconnect in that fashion... once you plug it back in again, you can disconnect as you did before, by just unplugging. But now mine is Fine.

Washed my sony nwz-e436f is it repairable?

I've had good luck recovering cell phones that went in the water. I dismantle them as much as possible and the put them on the dashboard of my car in the sun. In the winter, use any place that gets warm (120-130F) without getting hot (150F+). Leave it there for a day or even two days before you try powering up. A hair dryer is OK, but it is hard to keep that running for hours at a time. Don't charge it until you are sure it's good and dry. Good luck.

Why does sony E436F MP3 player change the order of

Your music has likely been put on shuffle. Look on the screen while songs are playing. You will see two crossed arrows or the word shuffle or random. Check playback options and see if random or shuffle option has been turned on. Sometimes the program you use to put songs on the MP3 player will activate this option if the program's playlist is on shuffle.

My mp3 player won't turn on at all.

  • Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer’s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.
  • Try resetting the device it’s usually a small pinhole on the back or side of the device try holding that in for about 10 seconds.

Sony NWZ-436F freezes when creating library

Old post I know, but i had a similar problem...
I think it has to do with the file types you upload - had the same issue, and through trial and error I finally noticed one album I uploading was an m4a format. When I would upload several files stepwise, making sure that the player starts after each upload, everything would be fine until I tried the m4a files - it would freeze on the creating library startup screen. This was for the same model as billybraga. Annoying.

Its show battery fulll when connected to pc and

Hi himanshuahuj,
Are you connecting directly to a USB port, or are you using a USB extension cord of your own? Try to connect the player (+ the cord supplied by Sony) directly to your PC. I used to have this same problem too. The walkman can't recognise two extensions at once. Also check if there are such other things that can be overlooked, like connecting to USB ports without drivers (very unlikely, if you can transfer data). If this still doesn't solve your problem, maybe you have to change the battery, or take it to a service center where they can show you exactly which configuration allows the player to charge best.

The problem has something to do with the battery or loose wiring or the program itself.

If your device is still under the warranty period, I would strongly suggest to contact the manufacturer and have them repair it for you.

If not, try to remove the battery for about a minute and then put it back on. Or better yet, try another battery.

Aside from this, loose wire connection from the battery to the board or corrupted program could be the cause of the problem.

The volume of my mp3 player sony E436F is too much

Hi rockgfr,
The first way to increase the volume is of course by the volume control on the right hand side of the player. If even at the highest limit (30) provided by this control, the volume seems low, then go to Settings --> Common Settings --> AVLS. The volume limit is probably on, so you can try putting it off and see if you can increase the volume further. Failing these methods, you can always use software like MP3Gain to raise the volume of your tracks.
