You may have caused a short in the device. Basically once your cellphone is exposed to water, the best solution would be to IMMEDIATELY remove the battery, and place the device in a bowl of rice. The rice serves to absorb the moisture, and within a day, should restore your phone :D.
It doesn't hurt to take it apart and dry it by hand though, but by trying to use a non-dry phone you may have to get a new one.
You can find all your network connections switches on the menu under manage connections. there you can turn on the wirelless network connection. The icon for the manage connections should be an antena with radio waves arround it
You MUST let it dry out throughly before you try using it again. You run the risk of shorting something out permanently. Some say open it up and lay it on a cookie sheet at 200 degrees for an hour or so. Others say put it in a tub of rice to let the rice pull the moisture out. I found success by just taking everything out (battery, sim) and/or apart (covers, back) that I could and letting it dry out for a few days by my heater vent. Whatever you do, DON'T put it in the dryer or on top of the toaster as some have suggested. That will definitely damage it more, lol.
Mine was doing the same thing. I called ATT and was told to remove and reinstall the battery and the sim card making sure the sim was in tightly. once i done this it hasn't happened again
