I had change bios setting.but after now i cant go

If you want to go to the BIOS setting of your computer its either you press F2 or F10 on your keyboard depending on the type of motherboard you are using. Remember that you watch the screen while doing this, and it will display a message saying "Entering setup" Just a word of caution, do not change settings that you are not sure of in the BIOS settings because this might cause your system to malfunction

Toshiba satellite p105-s6227 built in and external monitors not responding

Your Graphics Adapter may be bad. You didn't post the results of the screen testing in another laptop? Did the screen work? Has the laptop been overheating due to dust build up in the fan, vents, heatsink? Has the Thermal Paste degraded/overheating causing a failure of the Graphics Adapter? When you boot does the HDD blink? Sound? Fan spins? Just no monitor? Any damage? drop? Possible loose connection of the Graphics?

I have a Toshiba Satellite

Reads like you have a hardware system fault. Check your RAM chips are seated properly and test your HDD using a linux liveCD and running diagnostics tests (UBCD4Win is good for this too).
The other task would be to update/reflash the BIOS.

Sound has suddenly just stopped.

This is a generic issue with all Windows OS updates....many of the users are facing this issue....this issue began after an auto update from MS changed many IRQs of Win OS, mainly the Sound and Audio Control system of Windows.
1 - R U facing NO Audio / No Sound issue...?
2 - Is ur Volume Control not responding ?
3 - Is ur Sound and Audio Device in Control Panel Grayed out ?
4 - Do u get a msg "No Active Mixer Devices Installed....when u try to open Volume Ctrl etc etc ?

If ur ans to any one of them is Yes...then u are being spammed by Microsoft....as ur Sound Control IRQ is being frozen by a recent update from Microsoft....

NOTE..THIS…IS…VERY..IMPORTANT...
No file update or any sound driver update can fix it, neither Microsoft is issuing any patch to fix it…or giving any help on this.
Full solution is available in my website (Support page)...it's quite simple process to fix it, and I am not charging any money, just doing FREE service to help everyone affected by this stupidity from Microsoft.
www.sureshayyar.110mb.com
visit my Support Page.

many of us are victim of this “stupid” update, my office has 24 PC/Notebooks and almost all of them got this issue one by one in 4 months time period, I head the tech dept here.
all the best...
Kindly leave a feedback/rating to this solution as it will help me understand if my solution worked

Have to play with power cord for it to charge

Hi;
The common fail on these is the power jack on the back of the laptop. Often the cost to fix this is around $150 or so, but sometimes the entire motherboard needs replaced too. It is worth checking out the AC Adapter first, as sometimes they cause this too, but most of the time it is a jack failure.

I have vertical lines (15 of them now) on my Toshiba laptop.

I'm afraid when you see vertical line on an lcd panel, it most likely is screen failure. Ebay has plenty of screen from good companies in Texas. I get most of my screens from Ebay store LCDTECH99. They have the best prices, most screens are under 100 bucks and they ship right away. The Toshiba screen is an easy repair, Only the bezel needs to be removed in most cases. Below is a guide to show the process.

My Toshiba p105 s6004 has a damaged sound control

you can get a small external sound controller that plugs into a USB port .. these are usually better than what comes with the laptop ... a lot of internal sound cards use only monoral inputs .. i guess thats ok for a mike but really bad if ;you want to record an old record, tape or FM station .. the external sound cards have sterio in and out and many other features ... also some have multichannel (mixer) capabilitys .. they usually have lower noise and better sound quality ... really good ones can be expensive but i got a low cost one locally that works great ..its very small but a big improvment over what my dell had internally in my laptop ..

the sound control switch and the "sound card" are likely seperate ... so replacing the card may not fix the problem if the control is bad .. in fact several spec sheets show the sound card as "integrated" on your machine .. that probably means its built on the motherboard .. not a plugin replacable part.. ouch

here are some external sound cards to get you started .. just search for USB sound controllers on google .. there are many

really small one

Computer will not boot up.

Install windows again into the computer with the vista dvd, just make sure you don't empty or format the hard drive. If you leave your drive as it is, your old files will all be moved to c:\windows.old and the dvd will install a new vista to the computer.

Your computer should work normally after this, you may need to get the drivers for it from toshiba website, or if you use a recovery disc it will most likely contain those drivers but It may empty your hard drive.

You have the correct memory, however, did you replace memory in both available slots with same capacity/clockspeed sticks? The below is from the Spec sheet for your computer.

512MB(min)/2048MB (max), 2 memory slots using 256MB, 512MB, 1024MB or 2048MB PC4200 DDR2 533MHz SDRAM,
dualchannel support requires two memory modules of same capacity and clockspeed

How to reset BIOS password on a laptop.

On a Laptop often you have to disassemble the computer to remove the battery or jump the CMOS reset.
On some laptop, like many Dells, and thinkpads the battery can be accessed from one of the slots at the bottom, and it is located deep at one side of the slot.
More commonly battery is located on lower side of the motherboard, and to access it you will have to remove the motherboard.
Better getting schematics before disassembling the laptop.

Do not disassemble the laptop unless you have done this operation several times before, and you have practice.

Before disassemblying remove battery and unplug the AC adapter.
Do not short any pins unless you are sure that you are jumping the CMOS reset pins, even without main laptop battery you can still damage components touching here and there.

The best way to erase CMOS is removing the laptop battery for one minute, thn pputting it back.

This will reset CMOS to factory and erase BIOS settings.
